Rash on Dh's 'manhood'

Rash on Dh's 'manhood'

Hi All,
I've been reading this forum for months now, and I love it!! This is my first post. We have been ttc for 14 mths now, and for the past 2 mths, my husband has developed a red, itchy rash on his penis, particularly the head. Bding last night was very painful for him. It must be caused as a result of a lot of bd during 'o' week, and it cleared up last mth pretty quickly. I generally have little CM.
Has anyone out there had similar experience, or any advice for us?
Any comments would be welcomed.
Thanks in advance.

Hmmm, this sounds a bit odd. Are you sure he doesnt have a yeast infection or something like that? From what I learned in nursing school the penis is pretty resiliant, not like us where we get sore when BD'ing. Unless, the problem is you are really dry like you mentioned. In that case have you tried Preseed? I dont really know, but I would have him get checked by a doctor for sure.

That sounds strange to me also.  I would definitely check in with the doc about that.  You said it occurred last month and cleared up and again this month also?  Are there any new products you're using that he could be reacting to?  I don't know, definitely check with your doc on that one.  I know that men can get chaffed sometimes if there's not enough lube but it's usually not an itchy rash.

Sounds like a yeast infection.   Get some lotrimin over the counter and use it as directed.

A friend's husband had this and I, pretty sure it was a yeast infection.  It did need to be treated, but I don't remember with what - it was a long time ago.
The other poster was probably right, though - lots of BDing shouldn't cause irritation on the head like that...
