Retrival next Monday

Hey!!! Wish me luck. I have my retrieval next Monday and transfer next Thursday. This in my 3dr IVF and I am 41. Not too hopeful but you never know!!!

Good luck to you.  I've seen women all over these forums getting pregnant that are years older than you are.  So there's hope, there's always hope, so believe and hopefully it will be a good month for you.  Keep us posted.

Am sending all my luck - Don't give up hope -  

I am 42 and had my first round of IVF in Sept, retrieved 5 eggs, 4 fertilized, transferred all 4 at 3dt (9 cell, 8 cell, 6 cell, 4 cell) on Oct 3rd.  Just found out yesterday I am pregnant with twins.

As my RE said, it only takes one good egg!!

My doctor increased my Gonal F from 225 to 450 yesterday night and tonight. I started Luveris at pm and gonorelis in the am. Another ultrasound tomorrow. By tuesday's ultrasound 4 follicles were growing. I hope I have more tomorrow.

I actually took a nap in the middle of the day and took 2 hours off my busy schedule. I'm trying to "stay" relaxed and do a bit of yoga every day....  when I take my Maltese dog to pee every morning he does his downward dog before going outside on top of my bed so I do it too :( hahhahaha!!! he reminds me to stretch !!! Thank God for DOGS:)

You know that when I started my IVF cycle one of the nurses told me to hold off on Yoga.  It seems like there is a risk of bending the fallopian tubes, or something like that.  You might want to ask just to be safe.

Yes, I know about the Yoga thing.... I used to do Power "hot" Yoga  and stopped.... I just do like child's pose and walk .... honestly I feel so "out of shape now".... I have been trying to get pregnant since April, that's when I did my first IVF.... I have gone to power yoga like four times in 6 months... I used to go almost every day :( .... but I understand you have to make sacrifices so I will do what is safe.... even if i don't feel happy with my body :( ....

I was too skinny to get pregnant anyway, so I gained about 6 pounds..... my husband loves it and i hate it:) hahahaahhaha.... Im just super hungry these days!!

Good luck with everything, I love how strong you ladies are and support each other.  I will be going for our first round of IVF in the new year and feel super guilty that I haven't exausted all options before going to something so extreme.  I am 32 and we have been trying for 2 years, I have ovarian cysts and have never had a regular period.  Doctor says I don't ovulate regularly and my husband has a low sperm count - going to a urologist in January.  Any suggestions are taken seriously so I'll keep reading!

Best of luck with your transfer......and way to go on those twins!

Has anyone ever read a book called The Pregnancy Miracle? Or a book called Natural Ovarian Cyst Cures?  They are both only available as ebooks so you have to download them.  They both sound really informative and good but I hate to put my credit card info online and spend money when I don't know if it is legite.
Anyone hear of these before let me know please.

So my ultrasound on Thursday had 6 eggs growing,,,, last time I had plus 13 growing ... EGGS..... where are you????? OMG!!!
I have another ultrasound tomorrow, hopefully more eggs are growing and then my trigger shot will be on Satirday night .... preparing for retreival on Monday if everything goes on schedule!!!

I took the day off and walked all over Boston:) I love this city!!!

By "last time" i meant last IVF I did back in June/July, therefore my egg bank is shrinking :(  well... Im 41 so it is "normal" that my eggs are running out

Good luck Mariana! I'm so excited for you. I hope all turns out well. I'm praying that everyone here gets a BFP!!!

In my case, if everything marches in cue, then I could very possibly gift my husband the best gift ever for his birthday, the news of being a daddy!!!

I sure hope this all works out for all of us here. We all endure so much and we deserve to have at least one little bambino (<-- term of endearment, of course) to love, or two, or three (whichever your case may be :D). God's Blessings Everyone.

OK!!! Let me do my daily log for my ladies:

      I did an ultrasound yesterday but my follicles were not big enough so they asked me to go today and I had three 20 and one 21 in size. I'm feeling better, hopefully they have eggs inside right. I have a frozen embryo that I will use as well. Thord IVF attempt. So hopefully they will do 4 embryos and one should be good, right?... come on.... sweet embryos: " You need to IMPLANT OK!!!"
I need to wait for the doctor's call but I think retreival shoild be Tuesday..

Good luck w/your retrieval! I had my transfer on Saturday Nov.7. I did a day 6 transfer with 2 embies... now I am officially in my TWW. Blood test is Nov. 19.

Im sad and feeling like sh*t

I had my retreival today and only had 3 eggs..... last time i had 9 and the one before I had 13... and that is only within the last 8 months OMG!!!!! .....so i'm not too hopeful this time.

My transfer will be Friday and I have a frozen embryo that will be added as well. Hopefully those three eggs will fertilize and grow :(

I have nausea and a little headache. I cried a bit after the retreival when I saw they only took 3 oocytes.

My hubby went to work ( I actually told him to go... that way it is easier for me to feel miserable) and I'm home wanting to go on fetal position. I have a 5pm client so that will make me move on and trust whatever comes my way.

Boston is very dark today... where are you Mr. Sun?

I am sorry that you are going through this.  Trust in that God's plan is.  Have faith.
