Ruptured ovararian cyst

A couple months ago I suffered from a ruptured ovarian cyst. On my left side I had an ectopic pregnancy, which caused the removal of my left fellopian tube. I want to have more children in the near future. My right ovary is healing from the ruptured cyst, hopefully it is able to function again. I just want to know if anyone has had a similar experience, and was still able to have children afterwards.

Any advice or related stories? I guess I just don't want to loose hope.

I had a ruptured ovarian cyst on my right side 7 years ago, loosing my ovary but still have a patent tube on the right, the left ovary and tube look good as well per Dr's and several tests done.  I still have been unsuccessful with all my pregnancy efforts, but am still trying.  All the Dr's assure me my chances are good with one ovary and tube.  Not sure if this helps,  it is hard to be hopeful after month after month, then year after year of not getting pregnant.  On my second clomid 100mg cycle, now with 2 IUI's scheduled this week, so I am hoping again.  Good Luck, we'll see     Fit4fun

I had a ruptured ovarian cyst in 1987.  I still have both tubes though.  I had a daughter in 2002.  I don't believe the ruptured cyst will cause problems and as long as you have 1 tube, you are fine.

Hey don't lose hope! As long as you have one tube you are good to go. And of course if it is open (no blockage) I have had a ruptured cyst on my ovary before, it was excrutiating and I was so young but it healed on its own.
Good luck to you :-)
