Yes, I would ask if you are a candidate for rhogam. This is an injection you may need to prevent your RH neg. blood from attacking the baby if it has your husbands blood type. It is worth asking about.
Hello!!
My RE told DH and I on Saturday that I had A- and he has O+ but he never said anything about a shot? Should I ask him? He said it was no big deal, he just wanted to let us know.
Oh-so I had another sono this morning and I had like 7 follicles on my right that were between 10-12mm and 6-7 on my left between 9-11mm. He was really happy with the growth and told me not to get my blood drawn this morning. He said by looking at my follicles he thought my estridol would be high!!! I have to go back on Friday and we will determine when I will take ovidril and have retrieval!! I'm freaking out:)!!!!!!
Thanks so much for your response I'm glad to hear that should not be the problem with DH and I.
If you are both positive then it has nothing to do with anything.,.. you're good! If one of you have pos. and the other has neg. then you have to consider some other things. Neg. blood sees other blood types as foreign and will attack it. This sometimes is the reason why m/c occur. If the woman has neg. blood she will need a shot called rhogam to help so the blood will not see the baby as foreign if it has the pos. blood type.
