Hi,

i was wondering if you did a FET and how it was? i dont remember from your early posts if u said that, sorry. ME and DH decided that if the FET didnt work we would also try fresh again. i was wondering if you had any info on FET success rates? you were so helpful and informative when i got my BFN :). i really hope this is our turn this time. We have not done an FET.  Just one fresh cycle in April.  And we only had one embryo left to freeze after the two that were transferred.  My doctor gives an FET a 40-50% chance of success.  He gives a fresh cycle 50-60%.  As for the thawing of the embryos, he was 90% confident the one we have would make it through the thawing process. Also, the cycle that mine failed, he performed 14 fresh tranfers and 2 FETs.  10 of the 14 fresh (as of the day we were there, but he was still waiting for two more results) were BFPs and both of the FETs were BFPs.  Wow that is a lot of numbers.  So I think the chance is really about the same either way.  We WILL be on the 50% positive side this time around. :)

thanks so much for the info! those numbers are really great! my RE also gave the same % on the FET, but he was really confident about it working for us so that made us feel better. i agree with u we are on the 50% side and we will get our BFP's this year! hopefully in Sept. good luck with ur next cycle. :)
