Sex during menstrual period

I'm a newlywed and my husband wanted to have sex during my menstrual cycle because he really wants a baby.  I didn't feel nasty at all although I thought I would. Now I do know that it takes me to be ovulating in order to get pregnant but I've been having some strange feelings lately.  I've experienced sore breasts, weird food cravings, always sleepy, very emotional, and thick mucus when I wipe myself with tissue. Could there be a possibility that I may be pregnant? Also my 20yr old keeps telling my mother and grandmother that I'm expecting.  Could there be any truth to what he's saying?

Sincerely,
Ready to conceive

I took a test a got a bfn. I'm so disappointed because I feel that it will never happen. What do I do to get pregnant? I've had regular cycles and only one ovary for almost 4 years now and they come like clockwork (cycles). Could it be that my time is up?
