I am 41 and have had 3 m/c due to poor eggs from advanced age. I am considering donated eggs and I have a serious potential donor. I am confident that she would produce more eggs than I could ever use. We only want one child and I would hate to waste the eggs if someone could benefit from them. The potential egg donor is 18 and has a healthy baby, she is bright, ambitious, and a very pretty girl. Unfortunately she has no support from her family
and is starting college and could use the money. She would love to help someone feel the joy of being a mother that is not able on their own. Not a guaranteed deal yet but has huge potential. I live in Ohio and I am working with fertility clinic here. The cost savings would be considerable and if you only are wanting one baby this may benefit the right person. I will go it alone either way. Time frame would be late summer, just an estimation. I am a very reasonable person and I would love to help the right person. I did not know if there might be any interest from women out there.
Be careful what you promise. Our donor produced 19 eggs. 14 fertilized, 9 made it to day 3, and 5 made it to day 5. We transferred two, and had a child from that transfer. We later transferred three, and none of them 'took.' So it took all 19 eggs to produce one baby. You might not have that many to toss around.
