Should I use the same donor after failed IFV with DE?
Hello,
I am 45 year old. Last year I had failed IVF and FET with donor egg. Doctors could not explain why IFV did not work. I really like my donor and she is willing to work with me again. . What you think should I change my donor or it is OK to continue procedure with the same donor.
I have not gone to a donor but am thinking about it. What does your RE say? Gosh it is so expensive I don't know what to tell you. Ten eggs at her age is not much I wouldn't think. I produced 10 eggs and 7 embies and I am 40 with high fsh. I would be tempted to go to a younger donor but don't want to influence you. What did your RE think of the amount of eggs you got?
I agree w/SHP - 10 eggs from your donor seems low. I too would think about using a younger donor but has anyone else gotten pg w/her eggs (not counting her child)? Also, what were the embryos
quality is very, very important w/the success of the cycle. I wish you very much good luck - I did the donor cycle myself & gave birth to a baby boy last month so it'll happen for you!
Hi there, I am considering a DE because my body didn't respond to high dose of meds for IVF. I am 42 and I have a 2.5 year old boy. What I am having trouble with is - will I feel the same about the DE baby as I did my own genetic son? I can't see why not, it's just nice to hear from someone that has gone thru the same thing. Thanks.
