I am 27 years old. I became pregnant at 18 and lost our child. I got pregnant again with my son when I was 19 and had him when I was 20. My husband and I started trying again shortly after he was born. Due to my lack of ovulation, it was very difficult. Much to our suprise 5 years later, I became pregnant. Unfortunatly, it was an etopic pregnancy, found at 9 1/2 weeks. We were unable to treat it with medication and required major surgery, removing one of my tubes. We have tried on and off for the last 2 years. I had a lap done to make sure my remaining tube was functioning properly and it was. My OB/GYN has started me on 100mg of Clomid (due to lack of ovulation...I haven't had a period in over a year) I took 100mg days 5-9. We were suppose to have scheduled sex
Did they induce a period before you started the clomid. If not, you will have a very thick endometrium if you haven't had a period in over a year. That might explain the spotting.
I have taken clomid for 4 cycles and have never experienced spotting, but I am on a much lower dose (12.5 mg).
If it does stop, I would call your dr. Best of luck to you.
