Slight Drop in HCG Level

I went to the clinic yesterday for my follow up blood work and my HCG level dropped from 30 to 24.  I asked the nurse if this was a bad think and she told me not necessarily.  SHe told me to continue taking my prometrim and to come back in a week for more blood work.  Has this ever happened to anyone after IVF?  What was the outcome.  Did anyone ever have a slight drop in thier HCG levels before it started to double??  I am so upset I can not stop crying and thinking about it.
I have no bleeding no cramping and other then being really really tired no other symptoms - at this point I do not know what to think!!!!
