Small Red Bumps

My boyfriend has small red bumps on his leg. About 3 of them. He said it hurts when you touch them only. I tried to pop them and puss comes out. He had them for a week now and he's worried and so am I. They look like pimples but they're super red. What are they?

Do you think they may be hair bumps?  Does he shave in that spot or wears thight clothes that may have irritated the hair follicles there?

I was thinking the same thing...could it be ingrown hairs? Maybe you could try posting your question on the dermatology board. Someone there might have a better idea on what's going on. Here's the link:

There actually something the when to translate it it means little red bumps.   Are they hot?   My mom had them once when she had Strep and it went untreated.  She went on predisone for 5 days and they went away.   It took 5 ER drs to figure out what it was, and still couldn't get it!  Her GP within 5 mins said here take these and i'll see you next week.

Well he was bitten by fleas when he went to his friends house. Could that be the problem? Flea bites or something?

Flea bites, bed bugs and even mosquito bites.  He may have an allergic reaction to them.  If it gets worst I think he should see a doctor and get on some antibiotics.  If you don't think it that serious maybe just a place a hot towel on it to bring it to a head. Then place a same amount of warm honey on it. Like a Q-tip head. Honey cures almost anything.

This would bring out the infection, then squeeze. Keep reapplying every night. It should heal in a day or so. Also keep the area dry.
