Stabbing pain in my pelvic area.

My fiance and I had sex on the 26th of last month.  I had egg like discharge on the 30th making me think I had ovulated.

I took a pregnancy test on the 9th -negative. I took another one yesterday- negative.

I am due to start my period tomorrow.

But I am having horrible stabbing and burning pains in my pelvic area. What could this be?

Also, I don't usually get this kind of pain around time for my period. Especially not in the areas they are in.
