thank you so much for all the help. I am most certainly going to do accupuncture this time around. It most certainly can't hurt, and hopefully will help my stress levels. I take my last active BCP 9/26, and start stimulating again on October 2nd, which is only three weeks away. Time has flown and I should be starting a new job this week to keep my mind of of things.
Thank you again and I love hearing everyones success stories. I am using Ganirelix this tme instead of Lupron. Anyone had any experiences with this? thank you

Hi! Thank you so much, I am really positive goin forward and listening to everyone. It is totally a craps shoot and i feel on the bad end this last time, but next time i have every reason to believe it's going to work. Grew great embryos, made it to day 5 transfer, gave me. 65 percent change of success and my doc still says my prognosis is excellent so I'm pumped for this time around. I think it will be great. For everyone out there, it is so going toh app pen. Thank u for all your support
Hi- i wanted to let you now that my girlfriends took on the second try. dont give up;) i just finished my first ivf cycle. it did take the first time. not sure if what i did helped my chances but i will share with you what i did so if you chose to follow. I will start from the beginning. I am 35. Had 11 eggs retrieved. I had the Ixie sp? because my husbands sperm had low mobility. out of the 11 eggs 7 fertilized. two days after that we lost 2. We were down to 5. They were graded 4's and B. My transfer was done on day 5, they transfered 2 and froze 3. I also did acupunture before and after my transfer. After my transfer i went straight home and went on bed rest. i layed on back with a pillow under my knees. i only got up to use the restroom. I slept that wasy as well. i did this for about 36 hours. the only reason why i got up after that point was because i had to get my blood taken. i went back to bed rest after my appt. The next day i did minor things i kept pretty mellow up until i had my prgnancy blood test. My docter had me start my progestrone the night of transfer 3 times a day as well as a steriod. i did a lot of praying and really gave it to God!!! Thge best of luck to you and i hope you have great success your next try!!!!!!
Honestly, it's all a crap shoot but you have a lot on your side. you are young with good health. I am suffering secondary infertility. I'm 38. After 2 failed IUI's. I did my first IVF in may. I had 12 eggs. 9 fertilized. 6 made it to blastocysts but 2 perfect looking grade AB blasts in and froze 4. 1 took but i miscarried at just under 8 weeks. I had the fetus tested and it was a chromosome abnormality. SO, the lesson here is just because the eggs look perfect, they may not be and the ones that don't look good - could be the ones that take. My dr told me they are finding it hard to even rely on the grading system anymore because it's not necessarily accurate. Will you do another fresh cycle or try to do an FET with the 1 remaining frozen embryo? You should look into acupuncture. It can help with implantation and also egg growth etc. good luck
Hello - don't give up hope. In non-cyber world I have 3 friends have had IVF to get pg:
Friend 1: problem is male factor; she is perfectly healthy. She had IVF 4 times before she got her BFP. The 4th IVF cycle she had 22 eggs mature (she donated 11 of them) and out of the 11 she kept, 8 fertilized. The first 3 times she had 2 perfect embryos implanted; the 4th time her RE was afraid she was too stimulated so only implanted 1. She had a singleton.
Friend 2: only had 6 mature eggs, 2 fertilized. Both were implanted, she got a BFP on the 1st IVF and had a singleton.
Friend 3: only produced 2 mature eggs, 1 perfect and 1 barely good enough implanted. She got a BFP on her 2nd IVF and had 1 baby. She is TTC #2 and had 4 not great embryos implanted, 1 implanted and she got a BFP, but she had a m/c.
If this iui cycle does not work out I will be starting ivf in October. Honestly, I don't know why some people get pg and some don't. I wish I did. I try to stay optimistic that it will work out and that there must be some sort of reason it doesn't. Good luck!
Hey, don't give up... I know how you feel but I'm 44. I made 18 eggs fertilized 11 transferred 3 instead of 4( re was afraid). I froze 7. All levels great, nice fluffy uterus, etc... Bfn, ok so now we do FET out of 7 only 1 survived...bfn. I believe in my heart that it takes a few times to get your bfp! I'll be praying for you, I'm going to have my tubes untied on Friday so maybe eith clomid and iui I have a chance...keep your chin up, you will get your chance, all it takes is one.
