Starting IVF - Any one else???

I am starting the BCP for IVF this sunday.  Anyone else in the same boat or close???

yeah I started my BCP about 2 weeks ago.  I am so nervous and anxious!

Me too, me too!!  I am actually taking active b/c pills for 7 weeks now since I was waiting for a cyst to go away to start my ivf.  Finally, I am starting Lupron injections tomorrow.

I"m not going thru IVF yet (we'll be talking about it in one month!!!! so nervous!!)  But i wanted to wish all of yall good luck with everything and i'll be thinking about you and have you in my prayers!!!!!   : )

this is my first IVF.  I dont have my calendar with me but my next appt is for april 24rd.  I think that is for the intructions for the injections.  The retrieval is on 05/12 for this cycle but of course we have to make sure my body is going along with that.

My estimated retrieval date is on April 30.  I do not start stims till next week.  I sure hope that my body is going along with my ivf schedule.  Have you ordered your meds yet?  I got a huge box of ivf meds.  I can't believe all of that will be injected into me.

I don't exactly know when my retrieval will be but it will be sometime in mid May.  I will know better when I get my calendar.

Today I started Estrace.  I did BCP last time I did IVF so I have a little different protocol.  I think my retrieval is sometime around May 8 or so....

Yes this is my first IVF cycle.   It is really the only option right now for us to get pregnant so hopefully it will work.

Wow, lots of ladies going through their first ivf cycle.  I hope we all get lucky!

Why is this your only option?  Ivf is actually the only option for us because of my scar tissue that prevents conception from taking place.

I got my calendar today and my procedure week is May 19thMy doctor gave me provera to have a period. MY question is why do we go on BCP to have another period and  then take all of these other injectables?

B/c is a part of suppression phase of the ivf protocol.  Your system is suppressed to make sure you don't O on your own during stimulation part.  In addition to b/c I also take Lupron that sort of makes me menopausal.

IVF is my only option because I have PCOS and my husband has really low morphology so they told met that if we did IUI I would produce a lot of mature eggs but because of his low morphology it would be nearly impossible for us to get pregnant.

I am also doing ivf this time around. I have started bcp this past Fri 4/11.I will be doing a mock transfer on 4/21. I am also looking into  doing acupuncture . Does any one have any info on this?

I got my calendar on Saturday and my transfer week is May 19th-May 24th.  I was wondering does everyone else have a week span or do you have specific days or a group of days???

I actually got an estimated transfer day but they did tell me that it's just an estimate and the exact day will not be known till I start taking stims.  
Congrats on getting your schedule!  I felt really happy when I got my schedule since it made me feel like things finally started moving.  What drugs will you be taking?

Drugs I will be taking :  Depo Lupron,  Gonal and Monopur

Same!  I am taking b/c+Lupron right now but will start Gonal-F+Menopur hopefully on Thursday.

I only have one shot of Lupron and that is on the 30th
