AF is peeking through the door, no big deal, I wasn't thrilled with this cycle anyway. But I just wanted to say that the B6 definitely works to extend luteal phases. I stopped taking it the last two weeks because I wanted to know if it was making me bloated. Well, my luteal phase before the B6 was 12 days and with the B6 it went up to 15 days. Of course when I stopped taking it, it went right back to 12 days. Isn't that something?
I'm no longer bloated and I actually lost weight, but I also started eating better the past couple of weeks. So I will start the B6 again next cycle along with my better eating habits to see what happens. I was so bloated that I felt I had a 3-month baby in my stomach and I never got bloated like that before.
I really hope it's not the B6 making me bloated because no matter what, I'm taking them again this cycle.
Wow, that's really interesting. I've been severely bloated and retaining lately and feel about 3 mos, too! I was reading a post lower that some on clomid are having that and thought it was the source. Now am wondering if is the b6.....How long did it take to start seeing an improvement after stopping the b6? I'm going to quit for a while to see if it is the cause.
When I was taking it I took it the entire cycle, 200mgs a day. I took it for maybe 3 cycles.
This last cycle I took it maybe for the first week and a half and stopped right before ovulation. I saw a difference with the bloating going down maybe close to a week after I stopped taking it. I read somewhere that B6 had diuretic effects so I would have never thought that would happen. I'm still not sure if that caused the bloating but it is starting to seem like it. I may only take 100mg this cycle.
