Stopped Prometrium prematurely? Do I start it again?

While taking Prometrium for luteal phase defect, I got several faint positives on home pregnancy tests. But then I began bleeding (light but steady full flow). So I stopped taking the prometrium. I've been bleeding for a few days now--still more than spotting though less than before. But I decided to take another home pregnancy test anyways because something felt funny. Two different brands of test were positive, darker than before but still quite faint. What do I do now? Do I start taking prometrium again (I've been off it for four days now)? Do I leave things as they are? I this just the end of a chemical pregnancy? Or did I make a mistake by stopping the Prometrium? The doctor's office won't call me back but I want to do the right thing here.

Right, so I was taking progesterone to keep my period from coming so that things would have a chance to do their magic. In fact, I was told my period couldn't come as long as I was taking the progesterone supplements. Only it did come. So I figured the progesterone clearly wasn't working and stopped taking it. But now I don't know whether my body's got things under control without the progesterone (which would be super, duper, crazy awesome)? Or if I just seriously messed things up...?

I would say still take it because it sounds like it is adding back estrogen into the body am i right? or what is the use of the prometrium? Sounds like you may be pregnant still especially if it isn't heavy bleeding. You should also go to your doctors get a beta hcg blood test and track the levels for at least a week to see if its doubled if it gets past 2500 there should be some visibility of baby if you are pregnant
