Stopped taking provera after 9 months? Pcos

I was told i have Pcos so my Dr put me on Provera it made me misedrable so this month i didnt take it yet i started my period on my own im 19 and have NEVER had bleeding without the help of provera or birth control. Does this mean it got my body on track or what? Anyone ever had this?

See if your periods come regularly. Sometimes a few months can do the trick, but if you don't regular periods then I would suggest an ultra-sound to have visualization of any more cysts. I used "Marvelon" the contraceptive for 4 years and it was great. All of my cysts were gone :o) Wish you the best of luck!
