Have any of you had success after having a surgery of this type? I ovulate fine, so they think whatever is going on with me is mechanical. I had an HSG about four years ago and my tubes looked fine, and I got pregnant on cycle two of clomid and IUI with DS, but this time it isn't working.
Just wondering if this surgery could be a waste of time, or if there is hope after all! I'm not feeling very hopeful right now... :(
after two failed clomid cycles last month and it turned out that scar tissue was in fact preventing my egg from going into my tubes on both sides! So, it was actually a problem. After I got my results I wished I didn't waste money on clomid! I also wish I didn't loose 2 years ttc. So, it was definitely not a waste of time for me. Also, before moving on to more expensive treatments, like ivf you should rule everything you can out.
Good luck!
