Success rate on IUI?

Hi, I just did my first IUI. I was on Clomid 100mg on day 3-7 and my follicle measured 22mm on Day 12. I did the HCG injection that day and went in the next day for my IUI. I am 3 days past IUI and nervous. I got pregnant with my daughter three years ago on our 2nd try and its been a long road since. We got pregnant again last year but miscarried at 8wks. We have been trying for one year and nothing. So...here were are during our 2ww and I'm going mad. It's all I can think about. I'm super healthy and all of my tests have come back normal. My husband is fine too. We have unexplained infertility. (which makes me crazy not knowing). Anyway, just wondering if anyone was successful on their 1st round of IUI? Any thoughts?

Hello...I wanted to share with all of you that we were NOT successful on our first IUI. I got my period 12/29. I just finished up my round of Clomid for this new cycle and start the Estrace tomorrow which is Day 10. We were so bummed when I got my period that we decided then to just take a break. We did everything right and the IUI could not have been timed more perfectly but it just wasn't meant to be. So, we're going to try on our own with the Clomid and wish for the best. (Meanwhile, four close friends have come up pregnant in the past 2 weeks...lovely!)

Thank you so much for your responses. I know there are a ton of us out there going through this. My fingers are crossed for all of you and of course....Baby Dust! What a great holiday suprise (everything body part is crossed). I will keep you posted. I think we need to hear more success stories.

I have unexplained infertility also. I got pg my first IUI but it ended up being ectopic.  The third time was the one that took and my son is now 10 months old.  I am currently 10dpiui right now, trying for number two... good luck to you.

I just completed my iui today and have to go for my blood test on Jan 2. How are you feeling? Any symptoms? We too have unexplained fertility.
I had two mature follies. My husband's sperm count on day one was 96 million/85% motility. Day two was 43 million/65% motility.

Let me know if you feel any symptoms.

Hello! i just wanted to wish you luck!!  I know the tww is just the slowest passage of time ever! We have gotten preg twice via IUI when we were told that IVF with ICSI was the only way.. so i have high hopes for IUI if it can work for us, and we have sooo many issues! GOOD LUCK i'm praying that you get a new year's miracle! : )
