Sucess with Clomid ?

Hi everyone...
I am 29 and my husband and I have been trying for one year. It has been the most emotional 12 months of my life. We decided to go to the doctor and see what is going on.
I had a blood test and my progesterone level is 10. My doctor has put me on 50mg of Clomid from days 5-9. I am also going for the HSG test on Monday.
Has anyone had success with clomid- and has anyone had the HSG test done...what it is like ?

I had the HSG done. i had some cramping during the procedure but felt better after i got home.
as far as successs stories with clomid, i dont have any. i did 2 rounds, but now am on femara with iui

I was diag with pcos after having sporatic periods.  I wouldnt get for like 6 mths at a time.  I went on 100mg of clomid for 8 rounds Mar 2010 - Nov 2010.  I was ovulating every month on clomid but no luck.  I took 3 mths off  of clomid to just casually try and finally saw an RE in Jan 2011 she said my thyroid was in normal range just on the high end so put me on Synthroid and also put me on Metformin (3 times/day) so started that Feb 1 and I got pregnant in Mar 2011. I am now currently 27 weeks.   My hubby did a seman analysis in Oct 2010 and was perfect, I also had a hsg done in Oct 2010.  I just took 3 advil before going and it was ok. felt no different then having a yearly pap done.  Good luck!!!!!
