TRT & Sterility

When I was younger I took steroids on and off for a few years and when I came off I had a low testosterone levels due to my usage...My doctor put me on TRT of 200mg of Cypionate every 2 weeks...I have heard people saying that anyone on TRT will become permanently sterile and not be able to have children...Is this true? I have hard things about HCG , etc...What is the truth...? Will I be able to have kids?
