TTC - EWCM good enough?

Hi, what is 'normal' cervical mucus like when it's most fertile? I know it should be sticky, EGCM and stretchy. Mine is hardly stretchy at all - a few millimeters and it breaks imidiately. It also only lasting for a few hours every cycle.

any ways i've read that robitussin (guaifenesin), you should buy the plain one with no letters after it... robitussin can help loosen up cervical mucus...

Robitussin is a brand name of a product that is based on guaifenesin, an expectorant. There are other guaifenesin based cough syrups also . It is used while TTC to thin the CM to make it more sperm-friendly. 1-2 tsp. twice daily about six days before suspected ovulation day until the thermal shift. Make sure the product only contains guaifenesin without added decongestants or antihistamines, which could dry your CM.
