TTC for 3mths

I know it is still early since we have only been seriously trying for 3 months but I am starting to wonder if there is something wrong with either me or DF. I'm 32 and turning 33 this September so I'm starting to feel... maybe I waited too long to try for my first and I'm a little scared that if it takes too long we might only have a chance to have one baby (if one at all!).
Anyway, I took the pill since I was 14 until about 2 years ago. For the last two years we have been using condoms and since January we haven't used anything. I started charting in February. My cycles are like clockwork 28 days and since I started charting and doing OPKs I think my ovulation is pretty regular too (between day 12 and 14). We have BD every day for 3 or 4 days before and a couple of days after ovulation... so I really don't know what else we could try to do. Any ideas? I'm taking "mother to be" vitamins which contain folic acid and omega 3. Is there anything else I could do to help my beanies stick?
I'm sorry for sounding a bit desperate sooo early but this past cycle I got a false positive and feel like I really need a little reassurance... Thanks for the help!

Ugh I feel like I have the WORST of luck :( I thought maybe you could give me some positive energy..So ever since I dealt with the horrible situation with that pregnancy category X medication I have sworn off all medication to be safe while ttc. Well, a week ago I went to the doctors because I was "uncomfortable" down there and turns out I have bacterial vaginosis. ( I have had it in the past and the doctor says its seems as if im senstive to it, like how some women are sensitive to yeast infections) She prescribed me antibiotics (metronidazole) and I voiced to her my concern, just in case I am pregnant this month (my period is due by the 10 or 11th). She said okay we can play it safe and wait, but after that appointment (which was monday) my symptoms got wayyyyyy worse. I did some research online and turns out that it leaving bacterial vaginosis untreated can cause pid, which i had before, which can cause infertility! I talked to my fiance AND and obgyn advice nurse and they both suggested i just take the course of metronidazole to take care of the infection. So, reluctantly, I started taking the pill. Now I'm reading everyone online not to take it during the first 3 months of pregancy. I took a whole bunch of early result pregnancy tests, which have come out negative, and i have no symptoms...I never thought I would say this but now I'm keeping my fingers crossed I'm NOT pregnant this month....I'm so worried and frusterated because I havn't touched any alcohol or medications (up until taking this medication) so I can have a safe, worry free pregnancy. This is like a reoccuring nightmare :( Do you think that since my early pregnancy tests all came out negative im in the clear? They are clearblue easy result and it says like 84% accurate when testing 3 days before expected period. I  even took one this morning, which was also negative. very stressed!

Thanks for the reply, it does sound like you have been through a rough time too... Since I have been charting I have also checked my cm, and cervix position to help figure out when the best time is. I do seem to have wet/egg-white like cm around ovulation time, but I might try to ensure I'm drinking enough water this month and also maybe even try the cup to keep the little swimmers up there longer. Thanks for the support and tips and lots of SSBD your way this month too!

Hey, I just ran across your post and I feel the same way. If it makes you feel any better I am only 23 and am going on my 3rd month ttc. I just saw a doctor today because I am worried too as my fiance and I have done EVERYTHING possible to concieve (I  had a horrible episode of pid in the past which sent me to the ER and i was told i might have trouble getting pregnant, as pid can lead to fertility problems) However...despite my pid I was able to get pregnant really easily back in september this past year (long story, pregnancy did not make it :( i had to abort early due to some pregnancy category X medication i had been prescribed before I knew I was pregnant. I was told the pregnancy looked abnormal) anyways the point is most likely you are fine. Just today a doctor told me the first few months should be considered just the beginning of ttc..and not not stress because it will happen..and only start worrying if its been more than a year. I know its hard not to stress (trust me i worry about it 24/7) but then i realized I got pregnant so easy that last time by simply having alot of sex and not "trying". O and another thing that a doctor told me and I believe is true...pay attention to when your wet. If you notice your really wet and also during sex its a good sign your ovulating. When  I got pregnant my fiancee and I had just moved in together and had a lot of sex and i noticed we did it when i would get really wet and i got pregnant that month. good luck!!
