I got my BFP today!!! Today is 12dpiui, had bloodwork this A.M. (proud of myself because I didn't cheat before hand with a HPT) nurse called an hour ago and said congrats you are pregnant!!!! I go friday to repeat and make sure HCG is rising. Im on cloud nine!!

Congrats to butterfly!!! I know you have been through a lot recently.

Congrats to all the other BFP's!!!

So Im a little PO'd...got a call from the RE's office spoke to a nurse, not the one I normally deal with this one is not as nice..and she laughed and said oh you were supposed to wait 2cycles..I said to her umm thats not what I was told before. I had my 1st cycle Oct 30th..( I still had beta of 7 I believe when I started my period and my period was normal length and everything).and I said to her that your office told me since I wasnt far along and barely preggo there was no reason I had to wait so long...My last beta was 61 when I started to miscarry!
Great now Im even more scared that something will be wrong..Please someone assure me who has had similiar story...and everything worked out!

Oh hun, I  swear, those RE nurses, can be VERY INSENSITIVE! UGHHHHHHHHHHH

I don't have any "experience" (I wish I did) BUT I DO KNOW that there is NO reason why you would wait 2 LONG cycles!  Heck, your chances are SOOOO much better to get pg RIGHT after a mc!
You were only 5 weeks along or less!
Don't worry about this AT ALL!  I'm SURE you're just peachy;)

I am now 6DPO, using OPK's this month and BD quite a bit during, before and after ovulation. Got sore breasts today and so hungry but this isn't unusual when AF is due, i hope i get my BFP this month. Best of luck to all ttc and a happy healthy 9 months to everyone who got their BFP!!!

this wonderful day is just about over. tomorrow i will be at 6dpt - so excited. this is my DH and my only opportunity. we are both praying and hoping this works. i have been a bit emotional, but just in spurts, nothing that lasts even 5 minutes.

Hey ladies...had my second beta yesterday at 14 dpiui and it was 56 so my number tripled!! It was 17 at 12dpiui. I am so excited!! I go back monday for another beta and to schedule my ultrasound.

2nd Beta today is 242!! Yay!! Im so excited but still cautious..I asked the nurse since my numbers are in the normal range and are rising appropriately can we assume its not ectopic..and she said well we really dont know yet..we just have to keep watching..WTH everything I have read and heard says that the usual indication is low starting numbers and low rising...
Im so nervous..with my previous ectopic my numbers were right under the normal range and never quiet doubled..ugh, I just cant wait till U/S! Go back Thursday for another beta! Wish me luck!

Hey my beta today was 233!!! My doc said the numbers looked great and never even thought twice about the ectopic. My ultrasound is next wednesday the 9th. After that I will be at ease when I see the little bean.

Well I'm off AGAIN;( 2-1/2 days late! I went to Target today & picked up a cheapie HPT, & as I was WALKING OUT to my car, I thought, hmmmmmmm, kinda feels like I started my period! Ughhhhhhhh Well, I did......been spotting all day;(

Well I O'd on Sunday and me and hubby took advantage of it ;)

I think the O is over so I'll call this 1dpo. We'll see what happens, I know we are going old school here but figured no use in wasting a good month.

Meanwhile, I meet with the doc on Dec. 14 to discuss IVF.....unless we have succeeded au natural .... hee-hee.

I am 6dpo, have sore boobs today and cramping, which is a little early but within normal for me. So will see what happens. DH goes for a SA on Thursday.

I started femara on Monday, this time it is 5 mg as 2.5 took a long time. I have a small cyst but the NP said it was okay this cycle. I have a ultrasound on Monday the 12th.

Day 8pt. 4 eggs, 3 8cells, 1 6cells.

BW on Monday

Bloated to the extent of looking pregnant, my boobs are two new foreign huge objects - Dolly Parton's has nothing on mine! Tonight a new one - Splitting head ache!
Was doing pretty well until today.... woke up moody, annoyed, and negative. (So much that I actually took my add Aderall for the first time since last Monday (day before transfer))
Reading all your posts makes me want to go out and buy some sticks to pee on.... I'm so afraid of a bfn - would rather live a few more days with the delusion that I'm finally pregnant....
Not sure if I can wait for Monday, not sure if I can take the hpt...
OMG- I'm a mess!!!....

Hello,
I posted this on the forum--but thought I would ask our "expert" panel here:
I took Femara this month, and I apparently have 1, maybe 2, good follies. This morning I took an Ovulation Testing strip, and it showed I was ovulating...however, my dr. had me take the Ovidrel shot tonight so I can have my IUI Saturday. My concern is that I am already ovulating and will miss everything?!? Today is CD12...and IUI is scheduled for CD14.
Any advice would be welcomed...I really would hate to mess this up!

hello all - well I am officially in the 2WW - I had my IUI today - I did injections *(bravelle)* and IUI I go in on 12/18 for blood work to check BETA - Fingers crossed to everyone waiting to test and congrats to the BFP's.

Ok I need so reassurance please.....Went for HCG levels Monday at 1130 and it was 400 went back Wednesday at 1045 and it was 589..its not doubling but its going up is that good are a sign of a mc coming my way? I go again Monday to do it again. The nurse said it isnt doubling like they like it but they need it to be over 1000 before they do an ultrasound. So maybe Im just freaking myself out...RIGHT?????? any advice r GOOD stories from you ladies would be great.

You ovulate 24 to 36 hours after your ovidrel trigger. They tell you to have intercourse the night of your trigger but I understand your concerns. It is standard for them to do the IUI 36 hours after.

I'm still around! Well, i've now started to ovulate late...WTH!? Always had a 29 day cycle and last month was 31 and this month i still haven't ovulated and today is day 17. Started taking OPK's again to try and pin point ovulation...on my second pack this month because i started testing on day 10. Today my line was dark like the test color but after 30 minutes. The instructions say that up to an hour the test is valid. Could i be in 'pre-ovulation' then??
I'm gonna test tomorrow morning too just to make sure.

I got my +OPK yesterday so I am 1dpo and ready to ride this lucky tww train! No meds this cycle but had a 16mm follie cd13 and I am cd15 now. Good luck all you ladies!!!!!!!!!! Congrats to the BFP and soo sorry for you ladies that got a BFN this month!!

Started spotting this morning, which is wired because I'm on Progestron... Suppose to go bw tomorrow (day 13 pet)... Guess I'm getting my period and will either get it by tomorrow or get a BFN... So Sad. Guess I'll have to start preparing myself for another ivf cycle...
Does anyone here know or have any experience with spotting on Progestron?...
Your success stories are keeping me hopeful and give me the energy to continue...

Had a little scare last night. Came home from the store around 6:30pm and went to the bathroom and there was blood that looked like a period when I wiped. I immediately started crying, my mom and husband were trying to calm me down and tell me that there may not be anything wrong. So my husband took me to the ER. Waited a good hour before I even got into a room. Doc did an exam and said my cervix was closed which was good and that they were gonna do an ultrasound and bloodwork. Beta came back at 2062, he said that was really reassuring that it came up that much in 5 days from 233. Ultrasound showed a sac and what looked like a yolk sac, and thank god it is in my uterus and not my tube that was my biggest concern. Doc said everything looked great and that I may just be one who has spotting during pregnancy. I didn't have any bleeding the whole time I was there and still haven't had any since that one bathroom trip yesterday evening. He told me they should see the heartbeat at my wednesday ultrasound appt if all is well. He said nothing looked to be cause for concern bloodwork, ultrasound all looked great and right on time. So I was very relieved and we got home around 12:30am. Yes 5 and a half hours in the ER.

Am ready to jump back on the train. I am 1 DPIUI...husband's counts were all normal...I am "unexplained" infertility, so just have to wait, pray, wait, and hope!

ashleighnb--so sorry to hear about your scare--glad everything looks really good! You, as well as all my medhelp friends, are in my prayers for that newborn baby. Or two, or however many we get! :)

Finally a +ve on an OPK! Cd 18...
I tested yesterday afternoon at 2.15pm and we bd'd a couple of hours later. Also saturday and friday night.
(DH usually isn't in the mood around ovulation time - psycological thing i think - but this month I stayed quiet and didn't let him in on the 'right days' so i guess he felt a little less conditioned)
I'm hoping to bd tonight too so that way i feel reassured that we covered all bases this month ;-)

Tomorrow will make apt. with Dr. and do one more ivf...
What is the magic of getting pregnant? seriously! All my stats are great - so what the #@*(#@!!!!! Guess I've lost hope - untill my next hope..

Had a really crappy day. (my brother's inlaw's Father died, My bosses mom died and I got the bfN...) Hope each one of you had a much better day!

I took 5mg of femara last week and triggered HCG before noon this morning as I have one follicle ready and appeared that I would be ovulating early. I have IUI scheduled for tomorrow at 11:30am.

To those starting femara: The first month i took 2.5 mg femara and it did not work for me as it took a long time to mature a follicle and then I was ovulating over the weekend before my scheduled IUI. This month I am on 5mg and it definitely worked in maturing a follicle on time. It also appears that I am starting ovulation before the HCG shot. If you think your ovulating before schedule I would tell your doctor. The first month my doctor told me to bed over the weekend just in case.

Finally met with doc on Dec. 14th and we are on GO for IVF in early January!!!!   YAY!
I am so excited I can hardly stand it!  I have been waiting to do this since May bu ... [More] t because of insurance I had to have 3 failed IUI's.  2 failed, one I got prg but miscarried at 9 weeks.  Just want the miracle of science to help me have my first baby!!  I pray everything goes well but am prepared for the worst.  I am so thankful to all  my medhelp friends who saw me through this last year - let's hope 2010 is our year of motherhood!
Insurance requires a bunch of updated tests so I had like 8 blood tests today and an AF scan.  I will have to take clomid from day 5-9 for the ovarian reserve test. Do another blood test on 12/23 for fsh. Once the results are back, its submitted for insurance and then when I get AF around Jan. 10th, I start the process of IVF, transfer won't probably take place until late February.  I'm very excited and I will keep you all posted as to the progress.  I just feel so good knowing that there is a real plan in place for the new year - its all very exciting!!!!  Wish me luck!!!
