TWW Train Continued 9/25

i'm 10 dpt. i go in for my 1st beta tomorrow....so scared. i go in for b/w in the morning & should be getting a call in the afternoon. i haven't really had any symptoms so i'm not getting too excited...not being negative, just don't want to get my hopes up & then be crushed. i hope everything works out for me & for my dh...we are hoping & praying. lots of baby dust to all of you ladies!

Sorry to hear about some bfn's :( try and stay positive! I will keep you guys in my prayers for your bfp's soon!

I just got my progestrone results from yesterday and it went from 8.3 monday to 22 thursday...I am on suppositories but I only took 3 doses before this test...everything ive read indicates this is a good sign...

With my previous preg/ectopic..my progestrone went from 9 to 12 to 10....so Im starting to get excited that this might actually be ok!

Also my beta was 16 on monday and 41 on thursday!
so it more than doubled in 48hrs...still on the low side but everything I have read regarding ectopics says that betas tend not to double properly and progestrone stays low...OMG I soooo hope this is it for me...
Wont have an ultrasound for at least another week! Next beta Monday!

Just got back from RE. I have two follicles, one on each side. 19 and 21. I got my trigger shot and have a scheduled iui for tomorrow at 12:30. Is it too late for me to take sum Robitussin ?

Butterfly - that is great that your numbers went up!  Yay!  You have to at least have some peace on this?

AFM - I POAS again this mornin and the line was darker.  I called my RE and he couldn't believe I have been peeing positive (as he called it) since 5dpt!  I am now going in for my beta on Monday at 8:30.  I am 4 weeks on the dot today but my RE said that even though my EDD is 6/1 it maybe sooner because of this but it is hard to say.

I got my Beta results, it was less than 2 so I guess that means a negative. Progesterone lab not ready yet. My doctor is not available until monday. I think im supposed to stop the suppositories but not fully sure.

Hi ladies. We were planning on doing IUI this month but due to hubbys work we decided to go the way of timed intercourse. I should be ovulating today after my orvidel triggers shot on Thursday night with sex last night and 8 am this morning. I have 2 follies on each side that were ready to be released so we went for it!!!!!! I will officially get my doc preggo test on the 9th of October so I guess I am on the train!

I know my Fertility Dr. said that their happy with anything over 12. I've had 2 miscarriages this yr. (one set of twins) and my last miscarriage my progesterone was 8.

They put me on suppositories and I was instructed to take them 2 days after I '
"O" and to stay on them until AF arrived or I tested.

I've been taking them now for 2 cycles straight. Sept. 8th I found out I was pregnant again (I'm now 7wks 5 dys) my last test of progesterone was 36. Big difference!

Please note: Most Dr.'s will say that there's NO PROOF of progesterone. Some women with low progesterone have had healthy pregnancies, while some with high levels lost the pregnancy. I just know that progesterone CAN affect your miscarriage rate%.After 2 miscarriages, and pregnant now, I take NO chances. I was instructed to take them until 12wks. pregnant. Hope this helps.

Nurse called yesterday afternoon and the beta was negative. She told me to stop the progesterone and call the first day of my AF. Really bummed but I know that with each cycle my chances will increase per the words of my dr. So waiting for AF so I can get started again.

Hello family,

I had my 3rd iui today. So I am starting my tww. Post wash count was 28.6 million. I hepe that this month is our month. I pray that i can keep myself busy during my wait and not test too early. I test on 10/12 if AF doesnt show.

Hi girlies, I guess I am back on this train ride ;)  I  can honestly say that this is the FIRST time in my adult life that I cannot tell you when I O'd!  I was on clomid CD5-9 & on days 9 & 10 was having "discomfort" on my only ovary, so I KNEW it ws close, got an US on CD10 saw a big 22 mm follie & a few smaller ones, RE said to trigger the following day, whick I did @ 8:00 pm (Thursday( & I would O Friday.  Well, I had pratically NO CM cuz of the clomid & my only small pains were on theose 2 days, so I THINK I O'd Thursday on my own before my trigger?????  My temp rose Friday from 97.6- 98.1 & today it was 98.2
So its been really STRANNNNNNNGEEEEEEEEEE for me!!!
We Bd once on CD10 & 2x's CD11  & wil tonight JUST in case.  GOOD thing I didn't follow "Dr's orders" cuz they said to BD Friday & Saturday, & IF I O'd Thursday or even Friday, we would have totally missed it....I think

i'm preggo!!! i had my 1st beta yesterday. i was out all day because i knew if i was home the day would be feel like eternity waiting for that phone to ring with the results. my dh called me when the nurse called & told me to come home. i'm going to be a mommy is what the nurse said! my dh doesn't remember exactly what the hcg levels were, but he said that the nurse said it was ideal & he remembers the # 152. is that a good #? is that an indication of a single or multiples? i have my 2nd beta tomorrow so i'll know more about the progress. it is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING knowing that there is a beautiful child inside of my growing that my dh & i made...well with the help of some great doctors & nurses :-)
my progesterone number was 17, so they upped my pio shots to 1.5 cc's. i go back for my 2nd beta tomorrow & i'll be able to see how the hcg & progesterone levels are doing. i'm so happy...i can't even put it into words. sending baby dust to all of you strong ladies out there! thank you so much for everyone's support & encouragement!

Yes, I have had IVF and all with ICSI. We had 3 fresh cycles and all those were unsuccessful. We had 1 frozen embryo from our 1st cycle and this is the one we put it.

Guess I need some thoughts on this...Today I am 4wks 6days..(probaby earlier since I O'd late) And I know my doc office said that if I was having another ectopic I wouldnt feel it yet as baby is to small..But I wonder, since I just had an ectopic In June that maybe my tube is a little more sensitive even this early on...
Today I noticed my left side (same side I had ectopic & I still have that tube) has mild pain..it really doesnt bother me but I know its there...I also can hear gas bubbles in my stomach on my left side (right above the pain)...my bowels have never been regular...
So I guess im just wondering if I could truely be feeling an ectopic or could this area just be hurting cause Im gassy?

I'm sure you already know this, but I also was told by my OB that an etopic doesn't give you any signs til between 6-8 weeks. Your like me, I feel EVERY bubble, twinge, poke possible in my whole belly area!
I bet your fine. Plus a better indication this early on would be the way your beta is rising.....right?

I got AF today and saw my doctor. I guess clomid made my lining thin so I wont be using it again. I also found out that I have a cyst again, so no help from meds. We will be trying on our own this month. I am going to get a ovulation predictor kit to find out when I ovulate.

Called doc today to tell them I started AF. They called in a script for 100mg clomid to take days 3-7 I was on 50mg last time hoping this will give me a little boost. I will have my day 14 ultrasound on the 10th. Cant wait to see how many follies i get this time, hopefully at least one will fertilize.

wannabamomma -- sorry about AF and the cyst.

butterflybabies -- You are just like me and are ultra sensitive on your left side from the ectopic. I too feel everything that goes on in that area from my ectopic and mine was two years ago. If your numbers are increasing properly then I wouldn't worry about it.

wannabeamomma, I am so sorry about the bfn and the cyst, too. I really think that meds aren't right for everyone and maybe you will succeed this time around! Just try and stay positive but I know it's easier said than done. I wish I could take my own advice ;)

ashleigh, good luck this time around! I'm praying you get some good mature follies there!!

As for me, I am still waiting to O. Since my mc, I have been o'ing around cd 18 which is late and with a 28 day cycle, I worry that my lp is too short. My RE isn't concerned about it though. Last month I o'ed on cd 15 and actually had an 11 day lp which is better. I'm taking prenatals and b-12 comples. I've heard it can lengthen lp so we'll see.

I am completely devistated..beta went from 41 on Thursday to 61 today! So either I am having another ectopic or miscarrying! WTH why??? Why cant I finally be a mother! I dont even know what to say!

butterflybabies, Oh hun I am so sorry about your numbers. Will they be checking them again? I have heard of many women that had slow rising numbers that went on to have healthy babies. I am keeping you in my prayers.

Lachelle, I started temping 3 months ago. It will actually tell you when you O. During your pre-o/follicular phase your temps are lower than your luteal phase/after you o. So basically by temping, you will see a sustained temp rise after you O. It isn't very helpful to time bd'ing but it will confirm if you O for that month and on what day. So in the future if you have to keep ttc, you'll have a very good idea of when you are going to O. Also your temp will stay up if you are pg. If you're not you will usually see a decline or sudden drop right before or the day af is due. It has saved me quite a bit of money in HPT's. My RE actually requires her patients to temp. I always thought I o'ed on cd14 but by temping, I found that I O on cd18 so we were missing it completely as we usually stopped bd'ing around cd15. I still haven't had any luck in getting pg as of yet but at least I know I'm O'ing. Hope that made sense :) Sorry so long but I do think it is an important tool.

Thanks everyone for your kind words...even though the nurse has told me that the baby is to small to feel if its in my tubes..since last night I have been having mild pain in my left side (side previous ectopic was on) I wont know till tomorrow what the next step is...they got my results late and the doc was gone for the day.and i know that they are assuming that because it is so small that I am in no danger..but Im thinking that if this pain persists and I am to anxious to know, I might go to the hospital where my doc is from and get checked out so they can call him and I can get some kind of answer tonight..My dh is at work and doesnt know anything yet..he wont be home till 11pm...
I also started school today..and I dont know how Im gonna go tomorrow because I am so upset....do you think I should go to the hospital so that way I can get some answers tonight instead of waiting for another day or 2...I am really hoping it is a lab error but I know in my heart I highly doubt it...all I can keep saying is why and I know I will never get an answer..

Today isn't panning out to be the best day for some of us. Got my beta score today. If it was any lower, it would have been negative. I think the nurse was wondering if I was going to cry, well not till after I got off the phone. I tried be more relaxed about it this month and didn't obsess so much, but it was alot harder to hear the BFN this time.

Thanks for the support. It was only 11dpuiu, I wonder why they had me test so early. I stopped my progesterone and then I read that you can implant up to 12 days after. Now I wish I wouldn't have stopped just in case. I wonder if it would mess anything up if I started it again tonight after missing it twice. Will probably go for a HSG when AF gets here. I wish they would have done that first. You just did one, didn't you, or am I confused?

11DPIUI IS early!  & I think you would be ok if you started the progesterone again.  BUT you would have to retest you beta cuz your period won't come if your on the progesterone.

& YUP, I had the HSG last Monday, & I actually just got the call from my ob's nurse  that my one lil tube I have looks perfect ;)  No leaking, not too thin & not blocked ;)
It was such an easy procedure, & I had no pain.  If your not pg, I would for sure get one done, just to make sure all is well!

I haven't joined the Good Luck Train before, but I'm in the 2ww on 13 dpo. AF actually usually comes for me today, so am doing a little "no period!" chant in my head. If this natural cycle doesn't work, I try Clomid next cycle, then my first IUI with Clomid and Ovidrel. Fingers crossed that the buck stops here.

So AF came tues. :( DH and I decided to take a break for a while all the BFN's are so draining. I just hope we can actually take a break. Since last break when we got our BFP and mc although we found out I can actually get pg, I feel like we'll be expecting it to happen again but with a happier ending.

I am 1dpIUI. This is my 1st IUI and almost 4 years of TTC (ugh). I had a m/c in Jan 2008 and have had no luck since. Had 1 great 23 mm follie and a few "small" ones that doc didn't even bother measuring so I have no idea if anyone caught up :) Guess we will see. Doc said I could test at 12dpIUI so I will POAS on the 12th (if not before!).

Hi All, i'd like to join also, i'm now 8DPO and was bleeding slightly yesterday and don't know why been having a few cramps today and my chest is beginning to hurt which isn't unusual before AF arrives. I've got 6 days till Af is due and think i'm gonnae get it, i'm waiting on test results coming back for testosterone and thyroid as everything else seems fine. afm ive had 2 A grade embryos put back this morning so i am now in the 2ww
hopeing that it will fly by and i will get a BFP at the end

Yeahhhhhhhhhhh, my Progesterone level @ 6DPO yesterday, came back @ 18.8 ;) I am not on progesterone supp.'s But I am putting about 1/8 tsp of natural progesterone cream 2x's per day. (NOTHING compared to the suppositories!) So I am really happy w/that number ;)
Trigger is OUT & my nipp's are still sore, actually a little more! But I'm not getting my hopes up...........well MAYBE just a little ;D

Well, I didn't think I had a chance to be in on the TWW this month because I figured my DH was going to be out of town. I'm back because we were able to bed a couple times just before my 'O' and now here I'am hoping his strong, healthy swimmers made it home, sweet home. You can take me off the train for a while we are on a break. AF came tues with really bad cramps but only lasted 2 days (one day was spotting only) then went away Thurs and started spotting again Fri with dark brown discharge sorry TMI. I have been having pains on my right side which isn't normal for me. Has anyone had this before? What could it be.

I had a ultrasound done on on my cycle day 1 and my NP told me that I had a cyst. Second time NP found one. My AF only lasted 2 days and mild spotting on day 3. NP said that I could get cramping after period related to the cyst.
Just wondering if you had a ultrasound on cd 1. Ultrasound is done to make sure non-fertilized egg(s) are washed away in preparation for AF.

Well my shot is also out of my system and I am on DPO 8-9 and I have to go to the doctor on Tuesday and (dpo10-11) and they are doing a progesterone/beta/ and ultrasound. I know that is still early to really have a good idea of if I am actually pregnant or not but my real beta is this Friday and I think I am definitely going crazy!!!!!!

We are on the same day :0) I am 9DPO today & starting to go NUTZZZZZZZZ! I did clomid CD5-9, HCG 11 days ago, so thats been out for a couple of days at least, no progesterone supp.'s
I'll get a beta on Thursday probably (13DPO) But AF isn't supposed to come til like Sunday, (I O on CD12)
Do you have any symptoms????? My nipples have been sore, still are & I am still a little bloated, & a bit of heart burn, but more just like acidy.
When I have a descent level of prog. in my system I ALWAYS get heart burn ;(

Hi all, I am on CD16 and had my HCG shot Thursday on CD13. Me and my DH BDed the 3 days after the shot...so when will I start my TWW or have I already? And should we continue to BD?

No my RE doesn't do u/s on CD 1. Usually he does a vg exam on CD 3 to feel my ovaries and then prescribes the clomid and doesn't do another u/s until it is time to check follie size. I have PCOS so cysts aren't uncommon for me but usually they are all very small. Maybe I should call tomorrow to just check in. Did you have to do anything for your cyst or did it go away on its own?

I've missed my support group! What a lucky train this is. I've been very nausious- I'm not complaining:) I'm 6w5d today...I still can't believe it. I did get to see my peanut last week on the ultrasound. It took me seeing to believe! We couldn't hear the heartbeat yet...too small, but we did see the flutter- 105 bpm! I got back to re this Wednesday for 2nd u/s. I pray everything is great! I'm praying for all of you too!

That is so exciting!

I am 5w2d today and I don't go for my first u/s until 10/14! Ugh, that seems so far away. This whole process is all about waiting and waiting and waiting and I am grateful that I am much more patient than when I first started this process a year ago. I do feel like women who go through infertility appreciate their pregnancy more because of the time it takes us to get to this point.

Well I took a preggo test this afternoon and got a faint positive I know it isn't the trigger shot in my system because I had 4 negatives in 3 days just to make sure it was out of my system! I go to the doctor's tomorrow for blood work beta and ultrasound! I cant wait! I hope this is it for me!

You ROCK!  Thanks for taking this train over ;)  That takes quite a bit of your time (& thinking!;)
Well, today is actually 12DPO (I think anyway;) & of course I didn't but any HPT's!!!!  Well I did a couple of days ago, when it was too darn early to test~ Ughhhhhhhh  So I peed in a little cup this AM & plan on running to Target in a couple of hours to buy a pack!
I DID test yesterday, & there is just the FAINTEST of FAINT on it.  I mean REALLY faint, almost looks like an evap line, but i have NEVER gotten an evap line on a real EFResponse.  It reminds me of what I saw last time I was preggers @ 11DPO too.

My nipples are still very sore, not my boobs, just the tips, & IF I'm NOT pg. then I must have a BIG hormonal imbalance, cuz I NEVER have any boob pain unless I'm pg, or after an HCG shot!
I'll test later, plus I get a beta tomorrow too ;)
GOOD luck to ALL you chickies WAITINGGGGGGGGGGGG.............
& it really @%$@!(**&&^%^ for those who got a BFN ;(

I am back - I have been trying to stay away and not think TTC even though I am still going to my RE taking meds etc. AF came on 9/15 - on cd 3 to cd 10 I took 100mg of clomid - then on Wednesday 9/30 I did ovidril shot with IUI on Friday 10/2 - so today is 5 dpiui and I felt very crampy yesterday *(hope that is a good thing)* and my nips feel very very sensitive I know that is probably from the ovidril shot but last month when I did the ovidril shot I didn't feel anything. I started progesterone on Sunday - I go in on 10/16 for my blood work to see if in deed this month worked

Fingers crossed to all those waiting to test and congrats to all the BFP's a big list I see.

On the TWW train agsin ;-)
OPK sunday and got a +ve so i think monday night or tuesday i ovulated.
Bd'd sunday night twice and tuesday morning and afternoon. DH is away during the week for work and so our hormones were hitting the sky when we finally got together this weeekend...hopefully this helps those swimmies get to the right spot at the right time.

Ladies. AF is playing games on me. She never came after all. Just a pinky CM type thing after I wipe, especially after a BM. I know if i POAS and waste $10 she'll turn up. UGH. I ovulated on the 9/24 and normally have a 28/29 day cycle. Is my late-ish O date making my cycle longer?

i had a 3dt on saturday of 2 A grade embryos so im 5dp3dt i think hehe been feeling very tired and very sore boobs but im on pregnal injections every 3 days so there is no way to tell if im preggars till i have my second beta because the first 1 will be positive either way so its made the 2ww even longer grrr

I am visiting my grandma in Germany right now which makes the 2ww harder as I am not preoccupied with work like I usually am and therefore obsess about this more. (I am sure you know how this goes?!)
