I'm sorry to hear about your G-ma.   I know it's tough.  My stepdad has it and he's barely 66.   It's been progressing on him for a while.  It's sooo  awful.   My mom said it's like the movie - Fifty first dates.   He only remembers stuff from along time ago.   Anything that happens now he forgets the next day.

I just rechecked your prior post, the 11th. That's a great day! My lucky #. I was born the 11th month, 11th day at 11:11 am. I think I'm going to hold off to test this cycle until 6/11. It'll be a great day for both of us (I pray)

Hey Ladies

Tina - I hope clomid does the trick.  Seems like a lot of women are getting pregnant on it and with twins on this forum.   Well I'm looking forward to reading that you get a BFP in about 12 days or maybe even sooner as I'm sure you've got a stash of HPTs at home ready to go!  Yes....St. Jude.  I should light a candle to him to - LOL!   Patron saint of lost causes - that's me for this and everything else crazy that's going on in my life.  

Sheila - I'm doing great with the exception that I will be 41 in 5 1/2 days.  I'm freaking out for advanced maternal age reasons of course and because I just can't believe it!  I still feel 25 (only smarter!).  

Nothing going on either, ,ust waiting to go to the RE.  I'm actually bored right now as I don't have anything to look forward to in my cycle.   I've been POAS to check for LH surge with OPKs.  I think it's getting close to 2 weeks since my HCG went down to zero.   I have a feeling I will see something Sat or Sunday.   It's going to be hard for me to avoid trying anything after this cycle because I'm afraid I might lose my good egg.   But then if I get preg and lose it again, it will just delay the start of the IVF.  

How's everything going with you?

I pray you can hold out tll the 11th cuz that just has to be BFP day for you.  There is a reason 11 is lucky for you so why not test that day :O)  hand in there the 11th is aournd the corner.  DH and I may go to St augustine (to checkour lot)  next week before I start summer school.  Where is the shrine?

The prayer card I have says it's the oldest Marian Shrine in the US and is at the Mission of Nombre Dios 27 Ocean Ave. St. Augustine. I used to know the whole story of the shrine, but it's muddled in my brain now. I think I told you about the couple I knew that ttc for many yrs and went to the shrine and she conceived late 30's to early 40's. They moved away but I talked to the husband a month or so ago and he said she is pg w/#3!!! She did have an early mc between #2 & #3. They attibute it all to the shrine and prayer. No fertility treaments nor drs.

Yvette-  ARG...I can imagine your frustration.  I hope you get your surge this weekend :O)  If you dont conceive this cycle when will they do IVF?

I'm doing OK but just found out my grandma is in stage 7 of alzheimers (final stage) and they took her off her meds......so I'm STRESSING about tryin to plan a trip home and feelin very selfish that I hope she hangs in there for another 7 1/2 months not only so I can  have a healthy baby but possibly even get a pic with her ;O)

A meager 2dpo, lol. I did clomid this cycle for the 1st time, 50mg. Did the preseed, used the new monitor and opks, been carrying the bag-o-baby dust from babyhopes, I'm going to St Augustine this weekend to the Our Lady of LeLeche Shrine to ask for intercession, been praying to St Gerard, St Jude and St Anthony....Did I miss anything? lol  O was very clear on my chart and monitor this cycle, so no guessing for a change. It was early for a change, too. Easier on dh. I tried a different bd approach this time. Instead of every day, we did 2x a day on peak days. Dr said older eggs may not make the 24hr mark, even most young eggs don't so I figured fresh swimmers every 12hrs, lol. I'm hoping and praying. If not this time, it's gotta be soon, I can feel it in the air. If is this cycle would be due on our anniversary. Thanks for asking :) You've got the big RE appt coming up soon don't you? Is it on the 6th or 11th? I really think they are going to help you in a big way. I pray for you every am & pm.

she is in the TWW but just barely....she was on 50mg of clomid this cycle
