To test or not to test that's the qestion

Hello Ladies,

I'm on cd27 due for AF on Saturday (cd29), I'm posting this to see how many of you think i should pick up a HPT test on my way home tonight or if i should wait until I'm actually late for AF.  I'm very anxious to find out if we have finally succeeded this month.

I know that we SHOULD wait the full two weeks, and that I should tell you NOT to test, but since I cant ever hold out that long I would be a hippocrite. lol  So I say test away! But wait until tomorrows first morning urine! Good Luck to you

LOL...I guess I was the only one that voted no!! I know it's tempting, but I learned to wait until AF was late...it just saved me from more disappointment!  But don't let that stop you!  I hope this is your month!! :)

Thanks Ladies.....welllllllll, despite all the yes votes i drove right past the pharmacy....I still can believe I resisted the temptation of turning that steering wheel right into that parking lot...LOL The fear of yet anther bfn just got to me and i've decided to wait until Sunday if no AF on Saturday still.  Thanks for the input ladies. :)

I don't believe there are strict rules about when to test.  My RE and my high risk OB want me to test starting at 10 after ovulation and every other day after that.  This is because they want to monitor my Beta levels(blood pregers test) every other day to make sure the Baby is progressing as it should.  The way they feel about it is we work too hard to get me pregnant for me to lose it.  They have given me the meds they believe I will need to help my hormone levels and as soon as I get a BFP I am to go in for testing.  We all work too DAM hard to get our BFP and then miscarry.  You hear me.  TEST TEST TEST!

They also say if you get stressed out about not testing this can effect your ability to carry and could result in a miscarriage.  If it is stressing you out to not test, you should just test.

Hi, Me again.....well i had forgotten that i had a test in the bottom of my cupboard in the bathroom....i just had to go find something in there didn't I.  Well i did the test and it's BFN....so on to clomid next month i guess.

Don't lose hope mayb that BFN was just a defective test. It happens. Until they do your blood test and it comes back negative then just think positive. I'll be praying for you. Lot of dust and sticky vibes!
