Triggers versus positives

Okay, I know I'm going to get hammered for this, but I need a little something.  I am 8 days post trigger shot (huge follicle, 2.4) and, because I didn't know to do so, didn't test all along to watch for a fade on a test.  Tested today on a digital (come on, we've all gotten weak) and it claims "pregnant."  I know that the hcg could possible still be hanging out BUT: does the trigger cause: dark blue veining all over chest like someone has magic markered me, extremely creamy white CM that increases every day?

I haven't had a baby in thirteen years, but I have had three.  This is what happened every time, but with no trigger shot.  Can the shot do this?  Please, have a heart and share.  Finally happily married and so so so hopeful.

The ovidrel  ( HCG shot ) I took stayed in my system for 7 days. And it did cause me to have veiny dark blue lines in my chest. I asked th DR and he said your injecting a pregnancy hormone in your body so it tricks your body into thinking it is pregnant, But its not. I did that my last cycle and it has finally faded away and the CM was just as creamy. But at the end a BFN. I had to sit out this cycle dur to four cyst I had after using Gonal-f and ovidrel. Hope this helps.

the doctor said if the trigger shot is 250 then will show in urine for 7 deays if 500 then 10 dys if higher then 14 days (and give a day or two depends on how your body breaks it dow) so i think ur pregnant, i will keep my fingers crossed and say a prayer for u.

Happy Easter!

Okay, have an eggy update.  So, 16 days post trigger: two days in a row, faint, but PINK, lines on preggo tests.  Nauseous, boobs feel like I have the flu.

Doc couldn't get me in for a blood test on Friday and I have to wait for tomorrow.  Here's my wondering:  this late after the shot, can I have my hopes up about two days of pink lines, even if they are faint?  Both were on the Answer brand.  (also, both days were FMU, but my POASs done in the evening have very light lines, too.)

Sixteen days post trigger enough??

Baby dust to all my sisters this Easter!

We all deserve a chance to love a child.  I never had a husband who was a father to my children, and now, so happy!  He's the sweetest soul, and not only do I want him to have a child of his own, but it has occurred to me in December: I want a baby, too.

I think as long as there is hope, and as long as others encourage, inspire and support us, baby magic is possible!

BTW, last night and this morning, on an Answer test, I got light PINK lines.  Hmmm.  14 days post trigger and counting?  Starting to think there may be more than hope.  What do you all think?  Baby dust and love to my sisters-in-hope.

Just wanted to send you Baby Dust... and to wish you luck and say a prayer. im currently in the process of starting my journey. i am presently trying to secure the funding to have my tubes reversed, and then try. im praying daily, hourly, heck im praying constantly, its like im missing something, like a part of me is not complete. i need to do this to feel whole again. ive regretted my decision ever since my ex forced me to choose. it was either get it done, or be alone with a 3 year old, a 1 1/2 year old and a newborn. he threatened to leave. wouldn't have been the first time, i really shoulda let him but... i didn't. God will take care of me though.

****BABY DUST & GOD BLESS****

I would think the trigger would be gone by now -need a blood test tomorrow if you had one yesterday. If it goes up - preggo, if not it must have still been the trigger. Good luck and keep us informed!

So, update: at most I am 13 days past shot, 12dpo according to the doc.  Went yesterday and my hcg was almost 6 points, they said either I'm very early pregnant or the trigger is not QUITE out of my system.  Today I tested again.  I have a CLEAR pink (soft and fady, but pink) line.  At 13 days post trigger, what advice (or thoughts) does everyone have?  BTW, last night, urine tested nothing, nada, nothing.  Today, wow.  Possible?????  Encouragement, even if guarded?

If you woke up throwing up I would say this is legit! It sounds good - have them run another blood test in two days and you will be able to tell if it truly is a BFP!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Okay, so blood test says: progestrone 21.5.  Hcg 32.4.  I'm wondering: are my levels supposed to still be that high at this stage post trigger (9dpo)?  BTW, still testing positive on digital and otherwise.

Wondering about HCG levels.  I don't feel that I have been educated enough on the numbers!

Thanks to all the wonderful women who have responded to me.  Promise to be there when it's my turn.  :)  Baby dust!

My first trigger was out in 7 days - my second wasn't out until 10 days after trigger. All depends - keep testing. I use First Response, you can see if the line gets darker or lighter...Good luck!

I don't think the trigger would do that.

8dptrigger, could go either way.  I say keep testing.. in a couple days if you still get BFP, it is probably the read deal!!

congrats!!
