Trisomy 21 miscarriage

I recently had a missed miscarriage at 15 weeks.The test results showed that the baby had regular trisomy 21 down syndrome. I am 38 and afraid to try again. Anyone around my age having healthy baby after chromosome abnormality related loss. This was supposed to be my first

Hi there, sorry for your loss. I my self had a loss at 14/5 weeks due  to serve trisomy 21 and also other problems etc heart, bowels, kidneys and it was chromasonal rather than genetic. I'm 31 and have a little boy who is six in may......... who's happy and healthy.

I was told by my DR that we have a 1% chance of it happening again if we ttc
