New to the site and already feel apart of the fam! :-)
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 2 years now and have had no luck.
I'm 28 and Im pretty healthy minus the HEAVY/PAINFUL periods I get every month.
Also w/my period, Its not consistent. Im sure that may have something to do with it.
Ive heard clomid & geritol works but have never heard anything about it. are they prescribed?
...)
um, that's all I can think of
There is also, Big Fat Negative = BFN
As far as the other stuff...I don't know, other than, I do believe clomid is prescribed.
You may ask your gyn about PCOS. Not saying you have it. But I had super heavy periods for a while, and a lot of women with PCOS have irregular cycles.
I'm beginning to doubt I have PCOS after spending time of this website, but I definitely had TONS of cysts in my ovaries. My doc put me on Yaz for a couple years and they cleared up. Now i get them every now and again, but they usually correct themselves.
im going to look up PCOS becuz i dont know what that is...but ive been to my ob/gyn and they found a few cysts on my right ovary. 6 months later, they dissolved. so the dr told me to check my ovulation calendar to make sure im ovulating. so i did tests and stuff and its been off and on...
I used this link when i first signed on because I had no idea what hpt meant or why everyone had a DH but me. Turns out I'd been using hpt's and had a wonderful DH, but the chart helped. HA!
ALL of your questions and concerns. It's a fascinating process but very overwhelming when first starting. Good luck to you.. and lots and lots of baby dust!
I have Pcos And it really affects everyone different. Some people may get alot more symptoms than others. If you have cysts on your ovarys and are not having normal periods you most likely have it to. But im no dr there can probably be other things cousing it. Pcos is basically when you have big cysts on your ovarys cousing your ovarys to not produce harmones. Or not function at all. Everyone experinces it different. If you have been trying for two years you should really go see your obgyn. Clomid is a prescribed drug only and dr have to watch you closely when your on it especially if you have pcos since it can couse cysts to get bigger. You should probably straight out ask your dr if you have Pcos since they found cysts and you have irreguler cycles.
Good luck and lots of baby dust!!
