Trying to Conceive with Chocolate Cyst

I had my right ovary removed 10 years back because of chocolate cyst last i was married four years ago and trying to conceive last month i was diagnosed with chocolate cyst in left ovary and it was treated with laproscopy what are my chances of getting pregnant? can i conceive normally? my gynae told that i can conceive normally i need ur opinion since i am very depressed and tensed plz help

Hi dear,
we are sailing in the same boat. Most interesting part is that we share the same age group. I was operated for my CC in last dec i.e 2008 for left side. I was on the depot for 6 mnths. When I got my AF Oct 2009 was fine, in nov they got to see CC on right side nw.  They say I can conceive with this because it is not big. It may shrink. Let us see. I am hoping for the best. I hope this year we get the gd news.

Yes you BOTH can conceive naturally ;)  I have read that  our diets can contribute to CC's  like caffeine & refined sugars.  So maybe look into that a bit, just to help reduce them quicker & avoid them in the future ;o)
lot's of luck guys ;)  I can understand, I had a complex ovarian cyst & I had to remove my left ovary also. It was an endometrioma cyst & it was huge 9CM.   I conceived 2 weeks post my lap surgery, sadly I MC'd, but yes you CAN get pregnant!
