I am new on here but I have a question. I have been threw several cycles of fertility and I was not successful. I have chosen to have my tubes reversed to see if I could get pregnant the old fashion way. I ended up having a tubal
pregnancy in Nov 2009. They had no choice but to remove the right fallopian tube. Now all I have left is the left one. I had a test done on the tube to see if it was blocked
. I was wondering is there something they can do for that? Can't they stick anything threw the tube to maybe remove any scare tissue? The doctor who did the tubal
. They can do a surgery where they can splice out the blocked portion but it depends on how severe the blockage is. Mine was opened by continue to do HSG until it finally opened up all the way since the blockage was at the beginning of the tube and they couldn't cut it out. My last HSG done Oct 08 showed no blockage finally.
I would consider seeing a RE (reproductive endoconologist) They may tell you that your only option would be IVF however it is worth a shot to see if they can re-open the one tube that you have left.
I wanted to heg an HSG test done on my tubes due to no pregnancy after TR 10 months ago but dr told me it's not accurate because the tubes goes into a spasm and make the lukes look like their close. How long ago did you get your TR done.
I had a HSG done about 6 months after the tubal reversal and they was blocked. After I had a eptopic pregnancy in Nov 09' I had another one done on the other tube shortly after that. Thank you guys so much I will contact the doctor ASAP
