OOHHHh so exciting!!!! i'm praying for ya that they both are strong sticky little ones! : ) CONGRATS! : ) I'm sure its so amazing seeing their heartbeats
OMG!!!! Congratulations!! I told you you would get pregnant! Wow TWINS!!! I will be praying for your precious ones. Don't worry god is watching over you and them. Put it all in his hands
jennyfer, i found this paragraph on the web....i hope it helps, i believe heartbeat averages are the same even with twins...this goes per baby not per pregnancy....so here ya go
Week 7 - Gestational Age (Fetal Age 5 weeks)
Generally from 6 ½ -7 weeks is the time when a heartbeat can be detected and viability can be assessed. A normal heartbeat at 6-7 weeks would be 90-110 beats per minute. The presence of an embryonic heartbeat is an assuring sign of the health of the pregnancy. Once a heartbeat is detected, the chance of the pregnancy continuing ranges from 70-90% dependent on what type of ultrasound is used. If the embryo is less than 5mm CRL, it is possible for it to be healthy without showing a heartbeat, though a follow up scan in 5-7 days should show cardiac activity.
twin b might be a girl, therefore a smaller baby than twin a....twin a might be a boy....idk, will they be identical or fraternal twins??? anyhow i hope that gives ya a little peace of mind, relax, and try not to stress too much.
Thannk you so much that is helpful...they will be non identical, the are in different sacks and from 2 diff eggs. I hope thats the case. i went in again the following day and had another u/s and they said this time twin b's heart rate was 136 and twin a 126....so i don't know how or why twin b made such a comeback but the heartrate the following day was much higher. i had transvaginal u/s. My doctor says she only wants to deal with what is...and what is on the day we went was good. so she told me not to worry and we will take it all as it comes. I am trying to hang in there, i still worry about the twins but i am praying all works out. thanks for looking that up on the net, i really appreciate it;)
