Update on blood work, Progesterone pills vs gel

Update on blood work, so my HCG doubled it is at 13,000 (wednesday) previously at 6300 (monday).  So I am very excited, they didnt have the new progesterone results in yet, so the doc had to call down for it.

I need help, my insurance wont cover progesterone at all.  The vaginal gel my doctor prescribed is $750 for just 7 days. YIKES!  The prometrium pills are much cheaper at $75.  Do you know if these work just as good at raising progesterone levels?

My doctor gave me prometrium. To my understanding prometrium is all you need to take (vaginally).

Be careful about oral pills, they tell you not to take them if you are pregnant! They can cause birth defects.  My doctor prescribed them for me  with my las pregnancy and I read all the fine print before choosing not to take them.  I have heard that the vaginal suppositories are OK.  Also call your insurance company and see if they cover for special cases.
