Update

Dr called back with the results.  My hcg is 93 which is pretty low for 17dpIUI.  He said it is typically around 100 at 14dpiui, so it should be around 250 at 17dpiui, but he is still hopeful.  My progesterone is good, 34.1 but he still wants me to start on the supplements.  He said usually with miscarriage or ectopic the progesterone would be low, but when I had my last ectopic my progesterone was not low, so I'm really worried this is another ectopic but I'm trying not to think like that and I'll just take it as it comes.  My next beta is scheduled for Monday.  

So it is a wait and see.  I just REALLY hope it isn't an ectopic.  

So the good news is, I'm not out yet... not ready to celebrate tho.

I think that HCG is too high for an ectopic.   I think odds are in your favor not to have two ectopics too.  

I hope HCG gets betters.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

He said since the lab isn't open on saturday, he wouldn't be able to send it in until monday anyway, so he preferred to wait until then.  

I am still spotting a bit, but so far it is all brown old stuff.

I am so sorry about possibility of an ectopic pregnancy.  I wish you did not have to wait over the weekend.  I hope your next blood test will clear everything up and will not leave you hanging in the air.

Oh this is such good news!  I think that it isn't that important what the actual number is but how it rises!!!  So if it doubles, then that is good, good, good!!!  I think you're going to be just great!!!!  Keep us posted.

I know exactly how you feel.
the fear of an ectopic is always there but I personally think your # was very good.
You know brown/red spotting can also mean multiples.....
I'm praying that everything will be OK and hoping that the weekend will pass very fast for you.

each women creates their hcg at different rates.  you may be one of the women who does not double every 48 hours but every 72.  they say as long as you increase by 89% every 2 days, that is a good sign.  it also all depends on when the acutal fertilized egg attached to the uterus lining because you do not start creaitng hcg til then so maybe it took the whole processing time for your egg to attached rather than just a few days.  Kepp your head up.

I have had an ectopic and my levels kept rising but not doubling...I discovered mine at about a HCG reading of 600 something.

93 to me is not low I think youre in the running for sure. I am sending you doubling beta dust all the way!

Oh thank goodness! Kelly told me about your "false pos" post when I was on bedrest. I was so sad for you. Now, here I am happy for you again. 93 is still pretty good. Especially if implant was later. Geeze, Monday feels like an eternity!!! When are we going to be able to buy otc betas??? lol. Can you imagine what our arms would look like??? tee hee hee
