Uterus Septum

By my Pic, I was told I have a Large Uterus Septum. I still Have pelvic pain or discomfort. Im consern that my Reproductive Enconologist did counsel me much. I told him what i have by my mri results from my gyno who ref me to a RE. RE told me that it could be a  Bicornuate uterus or a septum and that many woment get pregnant. I think he is trying to avoid surgery untill the day I say I want to have a kid. But should I wait untill i have miscarrages or go get preganat and go through premature labor or should I just prevent it before? I never been pregnant or had miscarrages that I know of. I was told to take birth control for my pelvic pain. Im not sure what to do now. Why cant I just get the surgery soon, recover and then try to have kids when I want too. Im under a lot of stress and my work is standing up all day for 10 hrs with no breaks and sometimes more than 5 days a week. I have bad fatigue  with hashimoto's disease- Hypothyroidism.

Hi Scout! Unfortunately, I don't really know anything about having a uterus septum, but based on what you're describing, I would suggest getting a second opinion from a different RE. I was not happy with my first RE for a totally different reason, so I told my obgyn and he referred me to a new one who ended up being GREAT! It makes such a big difference when you get a doctor who actually cares!
