Uterus scraping to aid implantation...

Just got back from my re-consult after a failed FET. Doc and her collegues are recommending scraping the uterus lining. They say during its healing is when it helps with implantation. They have had good success with that. Have you had that done, success, comments?
She also recommended accupuncture so I have an appointment set up for that. Thanks

Hi guys, me and my partner are trying for our second little one, I was 16 when we had our first and dropped on in 4 months, this is my 4th month of trying now and still no luck, I know it sounds silly to some of you ladies who have been trying for years and some can't even have kids naturally, but I don't know when and if I'm ovulating and I'm starting to get worried, I'm nearly 19 years old so I should be very fertile shouldn't I? What do I do? Are those ovulation sticks reliable? Thanks guys

I just had the scraping done day before yesterday to prepare for my second round of IVF on Nov 5. They said roughing it up helps stimulate the area helping it stick. So hopefully it works!!
It is nothing like a D&C; With a full bladder they use this plastic bristle looking thing to rub your uterus. Hurts like H***!!! I would take something before you go in.

HOW DO YOU ASK YOUR DOCTOR FOR A D AND C.  DR.S DONT ALWAYS WANT YOU TO PLAY DOCTOR. OR A WHI DONT WANT TO ASK FOR THIS PROCEDURE TO BE TOLD ITS NOT NECESSARY. IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET PREGNANT FOR A WHILE, AND RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT I HAVE UTERINE FIBROIDS. THEY TELL ME THAT THEY ARE VERY SMALL AND SHOULD BE WATCHED FOR A WHILE. I HAVE HAD UNEXPLAINED BACK PAIN, HEAVY CYCLES , DISTENDED ABDOMEN AND ABDOMINAL DISCOMFORT, I THINK THAT I WANT THEM OUT

My friend had it done (was infertile for about 6 years prior) and got pregnant the month after they scraped it.  She then went on to have 3 babies back-to-back and had to get on BC!  :)  Also, she had endometriosis before they did the procedure and it stopped after that and her periods became regular.

It sounds like the scraping they do during a d&c. They did it to me and no luck so far. But, there are a lot of women who did get pg after d&c and are doing great. I think you build a thicker lining after is scraped, allowing a better chance for implant. I think that's why they say you are more fertile after a d&c. Also, if you have had problems shedding entire lining it may help. I don't know a lot about IVF, but the scraping process sounds logical.
