VERY DARK but THIN EVAP LINE???? PLEASE HELP ASAP!

Ok..So here it is...I had my Last AF start on Oct. 31st. I have 40 Day cycles. I took OPK's from the last day of my AF which was Nov.6th until i got a positive on Nov.23rd which was CD 24. So i ovulated anywere from 24 to 48 hours after the positive opk which would be cd 25 or 26. On Nov. 31st which would be 6 or 7dpo i had some spotting ONLY When I peed and it was light in color and alot of CM. I couldnt wait to test, I tend to be a POASaholic haha. I tested YESTERDAY which would put me at 8 or 9dpo on a dollar tree test ( i have the more expensive also, but dont wanna use them unless i get a good bfp on a cheapie test ). Anyways I took it At 10am, I got up at 6am and didnt drink anything that morning until after i tested. I took the test and after 3 min. It appeared Neg. So I just left the bathroom ( with the test still on the counter, and went on about the day, no biggie, figured it was a bit to early anyways ) I went back into the bathroom a few hours later, not to even look at the test, but then seen a VERY dark ( as fark as the control line ) line but its not as thick as the control line, its thin but VERY VERY dark and a FULL line. I know the test says not to read it after 5 min blah blah blah, so i dont need to hear that because I already know that. We have been TTC number 2 for about 18 months, and I have been to the doc and everything is fine with me and hubby. I have taken seriously prob 500 $$ store test and NEVER EVER EVER EVER had even a tiny evap line DAYS after the test. SO what im wondering is has anyone ever had this happen to them and still found out they were pregnant, or has anyone ever had a VERY dark evap line on this test, or any test. and it is a pink dye test, not blue! PLEASE HELP ME, im driving myself crazy. And im not DUE for AF FOR another 7 days, which would be Dec.9th. So i dont want to test until then, because i know by then it will be def. positive right away if I infact am pregnant! Thanks in advance!

Well it was either an evaporation line or I had a chemical pregnancy as I got af this morning. But I am WAY early this month for some reason I wasn't due to start until cd40 and today is cd35. Better luck next month *sigh*

If it was pink, I don't believe that is an evap line! I think you got a BFP! Did you wait the entire 5-10 minutes before you left it or, did you just walk away right away when you saw 1 line?

I have decided to test again the day af is due. That way it will be an accurate result! And the second line was pink and as dark as the control line. I would post a pic but I have no idea how. It was just thiner than the control line !

Did the second line have any colour? Or was it like grey?

For your peace of mind, I would test again to see if you get a line a second time. There isn't a way to tell besides that. I know how frustrating it is to take a pregnancy test and it turn out negative but you will never know if it was an evap line or if you are truly pregnant until you take another test! Baby dust and good luck!!!!!!!
