test... she lied! There was a possiblity that there was something blocking my tubes though. the xray tech wasn't ready when the dr started pushing the iodine through. it was interesting to say the least. I had cramping for the rest of the day.
But my sister just had one done last week by her dr and said it was fine. I guess just depends on the person.
, which was a complete lie. Worst pain I've ever felt to date for sure...but I also think the Dr was in a hurry and was not the nicest person anyway--she messed it up the first time and had to do it again and then the instrument got "stuck" in me somehow. I literally cried on the table and didn't think I would be able to let her push the dye through the second tube. The ride home was horrible, but within a few hours, I felt almost fine again with some minor cramping throughout the day. But I also see lots of women on here say it's no big deal, so yes, I think it can depend on the doctor and the person's tolerance for pain. (Mine happens to be almost none, so maybe I was just being a baby...)
mine was horrible as i couldn't drive home the pain lasted almost the whole day. my doctor could't push more dye on my left tube and on the result he just commented that the dye didnt pass at all and a gues its spasm
I DID HSG.
