Virgin and Pregnancy

I'm a virgin but would like to get pregnant through IUI or IVF. In addition to that, i have irregular period. Can i get pregnant?

Being a virgin shouldn't affect whether or not you can get pregnant through IUI or IVF...but irregular periods can if you go the IUI route. Generally, irregular cycles means you're not ovulating on a regular basis, so you would probably need some type of fertility medication if you go the IUI route. If you decide on IVF, on the other hand, the entire cycle is artificially stimulated (through fertility drugs), so most probably your irregular cycles won't have an affect. BUT I still think it's important to find out what's causing your cycles to be irregular in the first place, and I think any RE or fertility specialist would want to do some testing anyway before letting you try IUI or IVF.
