Vitamin K

I've read a lot of negative things about the routine injection of Vitamin K in newborns.  Anyone refuse it??  Anyone request oral Vitamin K for their newborn instead of intra-muscular??  Here is some information that I've found:

The injection is 20,000 times the needed dose for a newborn...  why?  Colostrum is rich in Vitamin K... perhaps nature knows what it is doing!  Immediate contact after birth and breastfeeding to receive Vitamin K rich colostrum!
