I know that when I was going through serious fertility treatment (clomid IUIs, and IVF) I gained over 20 pounds.  I think it was a mix of stress of it all and the meds, and lack of motivation to exercise.  After I had a miscarriage last July I took a break from it all and started a regular exercise routine. I have lost 17 pounds and kept it off.  I feel better and am actually now 5wks 3 days pregnant!!  Anyway my point is that yes you can gain weight from going through all this. But i would not worry about it right now. You will be able to lose it after you have a baby!!  Some exercise can't hurt, like walking and light stuff, but I understand your feelings of not wanting to over do it.  And your goal right now is to have a baby, not have a great body.  Good luck! I hope you have success soon. SSBD!
