Weird cycle.

So, I have been charting my cycles for four months now. I was on depo provera. I had my last shot October 2006. My period regulated four months ago, at which point I began charting to start ttc. At first I started tracking my periods. Then last month I tracked cm and this month I added bbt and opk's. Well, my period was 31 days last month. I also had fertile cm at 13 dpo which would have given me a very long luteal phase. I am not so sure I ovulated last month now. I had spotting at CD 22 and 23. Very light. Only when I wiped. Then I started spotting again on November 1st, two days before expected period. I have never spotted days before I start my period, only hours before. After two days of spotting and trying to "jump start" my period by going for a run and having sex, I finally had a fairly large spot of blood in my pad. It was about two inches by two inches square. I had spotting for the rest of the day and spotting the following day. That was my period. Usually I have two days of heavy bleeding, a day of medium and a day of light/spotting. On my heavy days, I soak a pad every two hours, and I have to wear an overnight maxi. I didn't have any bleeding overnight this cycle. I know it is common to have an irregular cycle every once and a while, but this is where it gets weird. I started charting my bbt on CD 1. At CD 6 I had a temp dip and at CD 7 I had a 1/2 degree temp rise. This coincided with fertile cm and cp. I would atribute this to being my first cycle temping, but I also had three almost positive opk's on CD 3, 4, and 5. Then my opk's went blank and have been very light since then. My temp has been high since CD 7. Today is November 12 and I am currently on CD 10. So four days of high temps. I read that sometimes when the folicilar phase is too long, breakthrough bleeding can occur. Could this be what happend and that is why I seem to have ovulated at CD 6? Before got pregnant with my daughter and went on depo, I had a 30 day cycle and 7 days of bleeding (3 days heavy, 2 days medium, 2 days light/spotting). I was only late once at the age of 14. I was a day and a half late. In other words, I have never had irregular cycles or light periods. I am curious to know what could have caused this. I don't have painful cramps. I don't have bad pms. What could be the cause of this insanity?

I just rejoined today actually.  I think it is very possible that may have just had some breakthrough bleeding but it could also be that you have yet to o so Id keep using the opks and keep charting - good luck!

I can tell you one thing, though. If this is the first month your charting, the half degree temp rise, might not indicate ovulation. You're only on CD 10, so you could easily get another temperature rise later this cycle. I would continue taking the OPKs every day to see if you get a surge. Good luck!

No one is ignoring you because you're new, I just joined a week or so ago too. I actually read your post earlier, I just don't really have an answer for you.

Also, it seems to be a "slow" day here today.

hey sorry...no around this time a nite nobody is really on dont get mad...im just answering to your post i read what you said and nothing like that has ever happend to me...before i start my period i always get some spotting a day or 2 before, you seem like you know pretty good about your periods, i have never taken temperature, i was told by my RE that taking bbt is not always accurate plus i have PCOS and high prolactin levels and on meds for that so the meds could effect the temperatures, as far as taking a preg. test, you said you took one last week, maybe i would give it a shot and try to take it again, or maybe what you experience was just old blood from last month, im not sure but i wanted to at least answer you because you seem pretty upset, nobody is egnoring you just because you are new! i hope you get the answer you need and feel free to ask away, good luck.

WTF? Is no one even going to say they don't know? That is kinda jacked. I know this is the first post I have put on here, but that's rude. So you don't know me. Big deal. If you came to a forum that I was a long time member of, I would answer your post. Support is what we all need when ttc. Thanks for nothing.
