What will clomid do if I already ovulate, just late?
I ovulate every cycle, usually between days 19-30. I'm starting clomid in the next few weeks and am wondering what this will do for me. I have recurrent
and am using clomid to hopefully produce a more timely ovulation.
Since I already ovulate, are my chances for multiple eggs increased?
Am I more at risk for hyperstimulating my ovaries?
Or will this make me ovulate earlier than I do currently? Thanks...Also,
Do people usually ovulate later or earlier on clomid, and does it depend which days you take it on?
I ovulated late so took clomid and Oed on day 21, then 18 this cycle. Took it days 3-7.
It all just depends on your body. There's a chance it may produce more follicles
and the mutiples chances increase 10% than normal. You are more at risk for hyperstim., but most women take it and are fine. It could make you Ovulate early, or later, just depends. I would def. take BBT during this cycle and OPKs so you can have a clue about when Ovulation happens.
I too ovulate every cycle, but my Dr. put me on clomid to give me a "better quality egg." I have always ovulated late, and I still do on Clomid. If you ovulation span is anywhere during Days 19-30, your Dr. probably wants to narrow that down and thinks the Clomid might help.
My Dr.had me come in after the first month of clomid so he could check my ovaries....
Thanks you guys. I have an ultrasound tomorrow, because last month I had a cyst on one ovary. If that's gone, it's a go! I'm so excited to try again. I don't have any answers as to my 3 miscarriages
