I've been having problems with my E2 levels from the beginning, even before I started IVF cycle it was low, on day 4 of GonalF, E2 was 77, which they said it was very low (Dr said it was suppossed to be around 100 at this time), the next day it went up to 141, I don't know if this is still low? I'm going tomorrow again for blood work and u/s, tomorrow is day 8 of GonalF, so I think retrieval will be anytime soon and I want to make sure my E2 is right! Any advice?
According to Fertility Plus, there are no charts showing E2 levels during stimulation since there is a wide variation depending on how many follicles are being produced and their size. Most doctors will consider any increase in E2 a positive sign, but others use a formula of either 100 pg/ml after 4 days of stims, or a doubling in E2 from the level taken on cycle day 3. Since your numbers went up above 100 on day 5, you're pretty close...so I wouldn't worry too much about it. I hope everything looks good tomorrow! Best of luck with everything!
Well E2 went up to more that 400 two days ago. I don't know the results of today's test yet. I'm going tomorrow again! They said ER should be around Tuesday or Wednesday! and that things are coming alone, the biggest follicle was measuring around 14, so we're just waiting for them to be around 17, they still have me on the same dose so I guess I just have to wait.. ;)
