When can your blood be tested for pregnancy?

Does anyone know how many days since your last period - that a blood test will show if your pregnant or not?  I am on my 3rd round of Clomid - and have had a time with it.  (I even got a false positive pregnancy test last month - and the blood test said that I wasn't) -it's been crazy things each month.  The 1st month I ovulated early (didn't think I did - but blood test said that I did) - 2nd month the false positive pregnancy test - and this month (the 3rd round) I got postive ovulation tests 6 days in a row!! (I posted about this earlier).  Anyway - my question is this.  I have an appointment Monday morning to have some bloodwork done - it is 24 days since the 1st day of my last period.  Is that enough time for my blood to be tested for pregnancy?  Thank you all.

how many days is it since you 'conceived or think you conceived'

i would say yes....mine positive blood count came up on the 11 day post conception.

That's what's so confusing.  Had my period from OCtober 28 through October 31.  Took Clomid October 30 through November 3.  I started testing for Ovulation on the 9th & that's when I got 6 positive ovulation tests in a row.  So I guess I could have ovulated before the 9th but I'm not sure.  All this can be so confusing.  Thank you.

I read that Clomid can affect the OPK.   It gives false positives... or it gives nothing.   The fertility monitor states in the manual that you may ovulate, but the monitor may not pick it up (what a pain in the butt).   But fron what I read in previous posts, the cheap OPK, ANSWER, will still accurately detect O.

I would assume it depends on when you ovulated because it takes 7-10 days for implantation after ovulation usually. I don't believe you would show positive until you have implanted, but I am not sure. Keep us updated! Good luck!

I had a blood pregnancy test a while back. I asked how long after conception it would take to test positive and the nurse told me 3 days.

10 dpo is usually the earliest you'll get a positive blood test.

I had my bloodtest done yesterday - 10dpo, it showed negative - my AF still looks like spotting -nothing heavy yet(3 days of this).Has anyone had a false blood test?  I am starting with my next round of 100mg Clomid tomorrow and are scared that the test might have been wrong?

I am pretty sure a blood test is 100% correct - but if you want to  - take one more pregnancy test before you take Clomid.  Plus e what days you- I'm not sur are taking Clomid - but I take them on days 3-7 of my cycle.  So if your period has already shown up - then you can be assured that your not pregnant.  

I am on my third round of Clomid - and hopefully I'll find out next week if it worked.  It'll happen - don't worry.
