When to Trigger

Had an U/S today one follicle at 17.4 and one at 19 so they told me to take the trigger shot tomorrow.  My question is morning or later in day?  I want the follies to both be large enough.  They told me to have TIC 24 hours after shot and then at 36 hours.  So should I time injection based on ability to BD?

thanks!

Yes! You want to time your trigger shot in line when you are able to BD.  That is how they time IUI's.  i.e I would trigger at 10PM on Sunday and go in for IUI 24-36 hrs after, depending on how big my follies where during my last scan.
Goodluck to you:)

I did my follie u/s on Monday morning about 10am and had one that was 20.5 and other was only 12. I was told to trigger that night between 7 and 9pm and then come back for IUI #1 Tuesday at 12noon and IUI #2 Wednesday at 10am. When they did my u/s Tuesday before IUI #1 the egg hadn't released and the follie was up to 24 and other just 12.8. They told me anything over 14 was good so you should be okay. I would definitely try to time it around BD. Good luck and SSBD!!!
