Why not ovulating while on clomid?

I have been trying for 7 months now, and two months ago  I have been diagnosed with PCOS, Dr precribed clomid 50 mg for two cycles for day 2-6. In my first dose cycle I noticed temp went up on day 15, but unfortunately I did not conceive and Igot my period after two weeks i.e on day 29 of my cycle. Then I took agin my second dose for  and today iam on dayy 22 but still my temperature is still low around 36.3 or 36.4. I doubt  I did not conceive, anyway will see a dr next week on 5th for the results because I have been taking blood test on day 21 for theses two cycles. If Ia not ovulating why so? while Iam taking clomid. Please if there is any answer for this please help or anyone with this kind of experience will be appreciated. Thanks

Some women just need a higher dose to ovulate, so maybe ask your doctor if he would let you try 100 mg. Good luck!

I agree with Heather5, I didn't ovulate on Clomid 50 or 100..only on 150 and only for the first time. After that, I was moved to injectables, because Clomid no longer helped me
