Women of Strength!!!

A Strong Woman VS. A Woman Of Strength

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape.

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings and capitalizes on them.

A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.**************************************************************************

dnikki:  Yesterday sounds like a long day.  I hope you're feeling better.  I'm so sorry you had to see your grandma feeling so sad ;(  That's really hard.  How did the chicken work out?  It's funny, I haven't been able to cook chicken since I got pregnant.  I can eat teriyaki chicken if it's cut up in small pieces, but that's about it!  I find that I'm mostly eating soup & cereal! :)  I feel so much better.  I think I've kicked my cold, but I'm still a little congested.  I did read that it's normal in pregnancy to be congested, though, so who knows?!  Lately, for the past 2 weeks, I've been really nauseous in the evenings, to the point where I feel like I'm about to throw up.  Then I'm fine for dinner...  Strange!  Yes, I hope you get your swine flu shot before you leave.  I heard that the vaccines are supposed to start being delivered to our area today, so I'm just waiting for the call from my ob's office...

Lina:  Yay!!!  I'm so happy for you & dh!  Welcome to the iui club =) haha!  I'm so happy to hear that eveything went well & we'll all be praying for a BFP in the next few weeks =)  Take care!!!

luvkayln:  Oh, I sure hope you're right! =)  That's good to know you saw body parts at 16 weeks.  That makes me feel more confident.  I just wonder if there's less room in there, plus having two, if it'll make it more difficult to see...  Fingers are tightly crossed! =)  That is so neat that you saw Addy's foot pusing on your belly!  How amazing is that! =)  Hey, did you get Kayln's Fall decorations all set up?  I know you had started, but were planning to do more. No pics yet... ;)

rachjas:  Your new schedule is so exciting!  It sounds like you're being well taken care of & everything will just fall into place :)  I'm not sure what the Heparin is for, so I can't help you there.  Maybe it's another name for something I took, though??

Candie:  I know I'm not alone in saying that I miss you ;(  Hope all's well!!!

Stacey:  How is Jake doing?  Update new pics soon =)

Keyan:  How are you feeling?  I can't wait til you start temping!!!

Stacey:  OMG, that's a mouthful, but I love it! =) Thanks!  I know it's not confirmed yet, but I caved in and bought some cute girly clothes today!!!

Keyan:  I hope you're having a great time & I'm keeping my fingers crossed that O is on its way for you =)  Enjoy your mini vacation!!!

Luvkayln:  OMG, I'm so sorry!  Please keep us posted on the search for Elizabeth :(  What a scary, heartbreaking time for her family & everyone searching for her.  I totally agree with you.  I can't understand why so many awful people are out there preying on children.  Hopefully that's not her situation & they do find her asap!!!

dnikki:  I'm sorry ds isn't feeling well, but so happy to hear he's been treated & hopefully will be back to his silly self soon ;)  That's great you got your H1N1 shot out of the way.  Good for you!  I'm still waiting for my ob's office to get theirs in.

sbumblebeeo:  I'm sure we'll both be feeling our little ones more often very soon :)  I think most first-time moms don't feel their babies early on because we don't recognize the feelings.

Ok ladies, prayers are needed! Everything is ok with me, so don't think the worst there! I woke up and 3 am and Sean was gone, so I immediately grabbed my phone and noticed I had all kinds of missed calls from friends at 1am and multiple text messages about an amber alert! So I called Sean right away, and one of our friend's 9 year old sister is missing and has been since last night! So Sean and a bunch of our friends were out looking for her along with the police until 5am this morning, and of course I couldn't sleep then because I was so worried! They stopped the search and started back up again at 7am. Apparently Elizabeth, the 9 year old, was walking up the street to her friends house and they were playing hide and go seek in the woods, this was at 5:00, and was supposed to be home at 6:00. Well by 6:15 she still wasn't home, so her parents asked her friends parents what time she left, and they said they never even saw her?! Anyway, everyone's been searching in the woods for her ( because she had a cell phone on her and were able to track it, but it either died or got turned off so were no longer able to track it, but they picked up the signal in the woods) and the police assumed that she was probably scared b/c it was dark by that time, she was probably lost and was hiding. So we figured if that were the case, when the sun came up she would come out of hiding and would come home. Mind you, these woods are huge! Sean even got lost in them while looking for her! Well, she's still not home you guys and it's been pouring down rain here since last night! I just hope she's ok! I can only think about the worst scenerio possible, and I hate that b/c I want to have faith!! I just can't imagine what her parents are going through! It just breaks my heart! The awesome part is that everyone has been volunteering to look for her today. They had 100+ people in the woods searching for her, which is truely awesome that so much love is out there for her right now! I just get nervous b/c did you guys hear about the 7 year old little girl that was picked up in Georgia, and they found her body last night in Florida in a landfill?! :( People are f'ing sick, it just makes me want never let go of my Adalynn!!!! Ever! I just don't get why people would want to hurt a child! I just don't get it... I'll keep you guys posted, but I'm just praying so hard that she's ok!

Well, DS's cough got worse once again. It started up again during his nap and after he woke up it just sounded aweful! There was no way I was taking "allergies" as a diagnosis although I'm sure it has some to deal with the sneezing and runny nose. I took him to the Walgreens Take Care Clinic - I was going there anyways to get the H1N1 vaccine. I signed him in to have a nurse practioner look at him. I told her all about his peds visit this a.m... Well guess what?! DS has an ear infection in one ear and a lot of wax buildup in another ear to where they can't see if that one is infected or not!!! I'm not very happy with the peds office right now! So, he is going on Amoxicillian tonight and she said to go ahead and give the Zyrtec also. ARGH! Anyways, while I was there they also gave me the vaccine. Thankfully the NP was nice enough to just do it while I had DS in the exam room instead of me having to wait 2hrs for my vaccine. There were soooo many people there!!! So that is my vent lol!!!

Stacey: that's a great nickname for our friend!! I know she will be smiling once she reads your post to her, I know I did!! Jake is having two new cyber sisters!!

Luvkayln: Happy 31 weeks!! Your appt is just a few days away, have you thought some more about what you want to do about Addy's b-day, will you decide on your next appt? I am glad she's been active, I know that must be very reassuring!!

Mommyin10: Congrats on the girls!! that's great!! Happy 17 weeks!! keep rubbing your belly for me!!

Dnikki: Hey there! I was at conference today and we had a doc talked about the HINI vaccines, and hopefully this is not too late, but there is a different vaccine for a pregnant woman and for babies under 6 months. is not that the regular vaccine can cause any harm, but they made a special one without some ingredient that has been controversial but not scientificly confirm that it can cause autisim or any other issues. Hope DS is feeling better.

Scripps: I am hoping your embys grow grow grow! finger's crossed.

MommyOFTWINGIRLSin10 - 2 girls!!!!  That is so sweet!!  Didn't someone predict you were going to have 2 girls??  That is amazing.  Sisters are the best!!!!  I know it still needs to be confirmed but 2 girls sounds so right! So glad you are feeling better and that everything looks good.  Sounds like your docs have everything covered and good for you for bringing it up!!

Don't worry about me.  I should be aware of these things if they are a factor.  So much for my finger theory huh.  I hate those speculum thingys too.  They want to give me my yearly pap and I've been avoiding it.  What's the point?  If it comes back abnormal they can't do anything but monitor it since I am pregnant.  Pooie on that.  As for the moving thing...it seems like by 16 weeks everyone said they felt it move but me...  I did one time and that is because I was really upset about something at work and it poked me.  Oh well,  YAY for twin girls.

Thanks :) I've felt they were girls all along, too. That's funny :) It's not 100%, but we'll
know for sure very soon! Haha! I've wondered the same thing. I thought I could put nail polish on one finger or toe ;-) But I bet once they're born, I'll be able to tell them apart ;)
Hey, that's great to hear your Walgreens has the vaccine! I'll call to see if mine does too. I made an appt w/the high risk doc for Monday afternoon. Yay! I'm so happy my concerns will be addressed :) Hmmm, I wonder if he'll do an u/s... I hope ds feels better!

Don't worry if you're not feeling your baby move too much. I mean, I don't feel mine all the time either.  When I do, it's usually after dinner when I'm sitting still on the bed. You & I are so close & my ob says most women don't feel their babies this early, but because I'm having twins, I feel it more. Just wait! In a short time, ours will be moving like Addy & Peyton! :) I'm like you, though. I barely felt them yesterday, so worried, but they were moving like crazy at our u/s! I'm sure everything is just fine :) As far as the cervix opening, I didn't mean to worry you at all. I looked up incompetent cervix & one of the factors was a t-shaped uterus & so, it did freak me out a bit. You & I have different uterine issues, so go ahead & read about it, but try not to worry.  My ob did a vaginal exam where she inserted a speculum & did something. I don't know. I was focused on the speculum 'cause I hate those things! ;) Anyway, it was a quick look & everything seemed okay. I'll make an appt w/the high risk doc for next week just so he'll ease my mind as well. Oh, your anatomy scan is just before mine & my ob said that doc will check everything! So, remember to mention it then :) I bet your heart pounding is the extra blood flow & especially because you're so tiny, it probably affects you more. I hope my message helps & doesn't worry you. That's not my intention :)

Scripps: Yay on the transfer!! Take it easy the next couple of days :-) It sounds like everything went fantastic and although I don't know much about IVF, it sounds as if the embies did very well! FX!

Mommyin10: We told you it was girls lol!!! That is sooo exciting! One Q for you though - how will you tell them apart lol!!! I always wondered about that! I'm glad everything is going well and they are going to keep a close eye on your cervix and such. Everything sounds great!!!

Quick update from me - I have a LOT of baking to do when DS goes down for his nap! DS came home with a cough yesterday - had a runny nose when he went to the sitter. Got him in to the peds first thing this morning and they are thinking it's basically just allergies and maybe a small viral thing going. They prescribed him Zyrtec to take at night. So hopefully we'll all have a restful sleep tonight!
Soooo, I called Walgreens and they have the H1N1 shot form of the vaccine!!! They will vaccinate both my son and I and I called the peds office just to make sure he was okay to get it today. After his nap, we will be heading there to get the vaccine. Soooo glad!!! He doesn't have the regular flu shot yet b/c of the nationwide shortage, but hopefully later next week it will be available again. I'm glad we can get him vaccinated for at least one though!! I will update later! Have a great day ladies!!!

Hugs, Love and SSBD to all :-)

mommyin10- I had to read yourpost 3 times b/c I was trying to scan it for the sex first.  Aww... girls.  That is so fun!!!  I am so excited for you.  I read the post about faining...it's been bad for me too.  Especially if I take a hot shower or get up to fast.  My docotr said it's normal and to slow my movements down.  I also asked Monday about my heart.  It hurts so bad some times.  Like it's pounding out of my chest and takes my breath away.  He said as long as I don't actually black out it's probably just palpatations from the increased blood flow.  I'm starting to get worried.  I don't really feel the baby move too much.  I try to lay still to feel it and all I feel is my heart pounding.  I did feel it a couple times but just a little bit.  When I realized what it was, it stopped.  I guess I should start reading what you are reading about the cervix opening up.  That is new to me.  My doctor won't tell me all the risks b/c he says I'll just worry but if I ask, it's a different story.  How did your doctor check your cervix?  If you don't mind me asking, what do they do?
Congrats again on a great visit.  I wish I knew what we were having.

Scripps-  I am so thinking about you and wishing you the best!!!   Lots of luck

mommyin10: I'm glad you feel reassured that you have good care and that everything will be ok.
luvkayln: I hope your doctors will explain everything and reassure you.  The idea of your checking the heartbeat with a doppler you keep in your purse is very cute.  I hope I will get the chance to do the same thing one day.

dnikki: I admire your work ethic for keeping such a heavy schedule, particularly as your job is very demanding physically.  I really hope your boss will become more understanding.

I am lying in bed now--just had the transfer.  Again, the experience was so much better than the hospital.  I was upset this morning, because I called the biologist, and she said that when they had checked the embryos very early this morning, one hadn't moved since yesterday, and the other was 2-cells.  However, but 1:30 this afternoon (remember, I'm on Paris time) they had grown!  One is 3-cells, the other 4, which is pretty good for only 2 days.  The doctor said they looked good, so now I'm resting.  Going to take a page from mommyin10's book and stay on bed rest for at least 48 hours.  I scrubbed extra hard this morning in anticipation of going showerless for 2 days!!  On my way home, I saw my doctor on the sidewalk with a woman, and he wished me luck.  He really is great.

Thanks for your support, ladies! =)  I feel SO much better after talking to my ob.  She doesn't do the measuring and checking for funneling, but said that's what the high risk doc will do at my anatomy scan.  She had wanted me to see them before today's appt, but they wouldn't schedule me til 20 weeks.  Because I was concerned, she did check my cervix & it was tightly closed & looked good!  She also Faxed a request to the high risk doc to see me asap to measure my cervix, so I'll call to make an appt tomorrow.  That way, hopefully I'll see the high risk doc next week, then again two weeks later for my anatomy scan, then my ob the week after that!  If the high risk doc sees any reason for concern, then he'll want to see me more often.  So, I feel great now & so relieved =)  Our u/s went really well & the babies were so big since seeing them 4 long weeks ago!  They were right next to each other & moving like crazy.  One of the babies was showing the goods, and my ob's best guess based on the one baby is that we're having girls!  They were moving around so much, but she kept focusing & couldn't find a penis or anything.  So, we'll see!  We'll know for sure in 3 weeks!!! =)

luvkayln:  Thank you!  You're so right =)  I'm glad about the timing because otherwise I would have stressed myself out, which isn't good.  I really like my ob & so I'm glad I was able to talk to her about everything & walk away from today's appt feeling happy =)  I'm so glad, too, that you're feeling better!  Gosh, with my babies moving as much as they were, it's crazy that I can't feel them all the time =)  I know it's just a short time til they're moving like Addy!  Thanks again for everything =)

Leighanne:  Thank you :)  Yes, I talked to my ob about my dizzy spell today & she said it is normal & basically said the same thing you did.  I'm also hypoglycemic, so it makes sense.  She said to keep eating small meals throughout the day, as well.

mommy- fainting is normal during pregnancy.  especially when going from a sitting to standing position and starting to walk too fast.  ym doctor told me to stand for a min before i start to walk.  you have so much of your normal blood flow going to the baby that when you stand your body needs a little bit to redistribute the blood flow again and many women feel faint and dizzy and can pass out even.  so just try to give yourself a min if its happening more when you stand.  if its all the time then talk to your doctor cause you might have like low iron or something.

Keyan, sbumblebeeo, Mommyin10 & Stacey- Thank you all so much for  your awesome support and understanding! :) I knew you all would understand! :) I do feel much better today, and now that I have my thoughts collected, I'll feel better when I'm able to communicate those with my doctor. I was just so upset when I left there, and really didn't say anything to let her know I was upset, and it just hit me right as I walked out the door! I've gotten a lot of support from my mom and mil, and Sean and I talked last  night about it too, so that makes me feel better! I'm ok with inducing at 38 weeks, as long as Addy is still doing great on her u/s's and non-stress tests. Plus, I have my monitor at home and have actually started carrying it with me in my purse, so if she has a lazy day, I can still check on her while I'm at work. :) She's been a very active little girl lately, so I haven't felt the need to check her, but it's a good precautionary! :)

Mommyin10- Your appointment is just 30 minutes away! I'm so excited that you'll be able to get your concerns to your OB out and get your questions answered! Did your RE ever re-email you back last night? Even though I know everything will be ok, I've been worried about you since you brought all this up! I know you're in good hands, and I'm glad you thought about all this and didn't have to wait to talk to your OB. That was fate that your appointment was today and this all hit you yesterday! :) The most important thing is for you to feel comfortable and feel like you are truely being taken care of the way you deserve to be taken care of. She really does need to treat you like a high risk patient, I've thought that since the beginning! I'll keep my fingers crossed that you find out the sexes of the twins, but mostly that you feel great when you leave there today! ;)

Dnikki- Oh man! I hope your back starts to feel better soon! :( That's good you cut your clients down a little bit, but what a butt your boss was being last night! I think some people just really don't get it! I hope you start to feel better!

Stacey- Wow, 10 weeks already?! That's awesome! I can't wait to see his new pictures! :) Thanks for the advice! I know there are still risks with being induced at 37 weeks, that she may still have to go to the nicu, and I don't want that! What gets me is she's so inconsistant with what she's telling me, ya know? I hope Addy decides to come early on her own, like between 37-38 weeks so I can laugh in my OB's face! Haha! Totally kidding, but it would still make me laugh! Hee hee! ;) I'm all about doing what's best for Addy, of course! And I do feel like I'm being well monitered. As long as baby is happy and healthy, then I'm happy too! :)

Lina- Half way through your 2ww! Woo hoo! Come on BFP!!! :)

Scripps- OMG, congrats on your retrieval and yayyy for your transfer tomorrow! That's awesome news! :) You know we are all praying for your BFP, and I really have a great feeling for you! Keep us posted throughout your 2ww, and make sure you get lots of rest too! I'm so excited for you! I just know this is it!!! :)

Ad_06- How's the provera treating you? Let's keep our cheer going! "Come on AF!" :)

Has anyone heard from Candie?

sbumblebeeo:  Thanks :)  Preterm labor could be caused by your cervix weakening and opening.  My doctor didn't mention it to me either, but I read about it & then emailed my old RE just to get some peace of mind.  His response worried me, but I guess I need to see if my ob is actually measuring and checking for funneling before I worry too much.  My appt's in an hour & a half, so I'll definitely discuss my concerns with her.

dnikki:  Thank you :)  I'll update after my appt.  I still have an hour and a half to go :)  I'm sorry your back is bothering you, but how upsetting to have your boss not be understanding ;(  I hope you're feeling better & that's great that you'll be cutting down your patients.  Your job has got to be hard when you're expecting!  Thanks for the info re: foot massages.  I had never thought about that, so it's definitely good to know!  Happy 23 Weeks =)

Has anyone who's pregnant ever gotten so dizzy you almost fainted?  I was waiting to pay at a store today & felt like I was about to blackout.  I got really sweaty, too, but it passed quickly, maybe a minute total.  I am hypoglycemic, so it could be my blood sugar dropping too quickly, but it did surprise me & I guess it's just another thing to talk to my ob about today :)

Mommyin10: I'm sorry about your worries but totally understand them. I'm glad you are addressing them today and I think it's a good call for a specialist if they aren't meeting your needs currently. As far as DS, there is NEVER a dull moment in our house lol! I don't know where he comes up with the things he says!!! I hope your appt. went well today :-) As for the massage thing, there are pressure points in the ankle that can cause your uterus to contract - those are also in the wrist. The spots on your feet I believe can cause the baby  - well, in your case babies to turn from what I understand. So we are just cautious with pre-natal massages!

Keyan: Maybe we'll just take our passports just in case...? Wouldn't hurt anything! We go by eatern time here too - but we have a time change on th 31st where we will be falling back one hour. Hopefully you will O soon, and by soon I mean while you guys are away from home and at the hotel lol!! I liked pre-seed but I don't remember if I used it when we got our BFP, especially since we did iui also. Have fun!

Scripps: Yay!! Good luck with your transfer tomorrow. How many will you be transferring?

Pyar: Good luck on your trip and I hope you come back with good news :-)

AFM: I was supposed to work 'till 10 last night - well during my first massage at 2 I started to have what felt like a bad cramp in my right side. But instead of a cramp, it radiated into my back and down and then it hurt worse when I put pressure on my right leg. Anyways, I finished that massage and informed my boss that I needed to call my OB and gave her a brief on what happened (mind you I had another client waiting for me). Called the OB's office, and I knew it wasn't a contraction and they said to go home, take tylenol, and rest. I tell my boss this is what they said and she has the NERVE to ask me if I COULD FINISH MY SHIFT!!! I told her no and ended up having to wait another hour and a half until I "could go home..." She wanted me to see if it would just go away!!! Anyways, I'm pretty sure I pulled a muscle in my back. I had another massage done today just in the back and hips area and it helped some for a little bit, but I'm still pretty sore. DH went to hug me today before leaving work and the pressure of his arms on my mid/lower back hurt! I don't know what the heck I'm going to do. I did put a cap on how many clients - I brought it down from 6 to 4 a day. And it will stay that way until after I have the baby. The pain in my side thankfully has been gone since later last night, just the usual pains and twinges from my little tazmanian rolling and stretching so much :-) I'll try to update more later tonight, if not then tomorrow! Hope you all had a great day!!

Hugs, Love and SSBD to all :-)

mommyin10-  I'm sorry to say that my doctor hasn't mentioned that at all for me.  He told me that I am at risk for pre term labor and that I may begin the progestrone injections at 22-28 weeks to help prevent it but he didn't mention a stich or second trimester m/c and I promise I asked that.  he said "no worries about another m/c".  I haven't had an internal u/s since my first appointment.  This sounds gross but I thought they checked your cervix opening with their finger.  Like when woman diate that's how they do it.  I really don't know.  He isn't checking me at all and I was told there is nothing for me to worry about until the third trimester.  I'm sorry I'm not more (any) help.  Maybe they'll tell you the same thing though.  Still hoping the best fo you.  Of course I'll pray for you!

XOXO

Thank you!  That makes me feel so much better :)  Maybe she has been measuring & I just didn't know?  I assumed it needed to be a vaginal u/s.  I will talk to her today & see.  Jake's new pics are awesome!  He is absolutely gorgeous =)  Happy 10 weeks to him!

Mommyin10 - Good luck with your u/s today!  I really hope that you get a little glimpse of what you are having!  Remember, I found out about Jake at 15 weeks!  I'm sorry you started to feel worried but for all the right reasons.  I think your doc should be taking every precaution!  I do believe that they can measure your cervix with a regular u/s.  I was at risk of preterm labour and that is one of things they checked at my ultrasounds and I didn't have internals.  Either way, you should definitely make sure they are checking you and maybe you need to go for more frequent ultrasounds.

Luvkayln - Wow...I can't believe they moved you to 39 weeks just like that.  It will be better for Addy in the long run but I can only imagine for you that it is 2 more weeks of worry!!  I really hope that you can get all of your questions answered and feel better at your next appt. Maybe 38 weeks is the right way to go?? I now wish I could have kept Jake in longer. I had him just before 37 weeks and look what happened to him....a full week of NICU and lots of worry because of his lungs!!!  That's partly because of the c-section but also because his lungs were not quite fully developed.  Either way it is so awesome that Addy is doing so well!  She is a perfect size!

kmcarino - Congrats!!  Twins...so exciting.  I know sometimes they can't see the yolk sac at the very early stage.

Keyan - So glad to see you back on the ttc list my friend!!

Jake and I are doing really well.  I have some more pictures I will post later today.  I can't believe he is 10 weeks old already!  He is smiling a lot now and i love it.

Talk soon ladies and SSBD!!

sbumblebeeo- Thanks:)  I really hope you are right and both babies will be fine at the next u/s.  I will try not to read any more about it.  It is just so hard.  I am not sleepiung well either.  I know I need to try to relax.

Keyan- Thanks for your prayers.  I definitely need all the prayers I can get:)

mommyin10- Thanks for taking the time to look back at your u/s pictures.  If my HCG levels were not so high from the begninning and if the smaller one was a little bigger, I would have more hope.  You would think that they would be able to see more sooner since my HCG levels have been high, don't you think?

Pyar: It's totally normal to keep your heart guarded. I hope everything works out in Barcelona & you come back with some wonderful news :)

scripps: Thats so exciting! Congrats :) Remember, it only takes one! We did ICSI, too, but I'm not familiar w/IMSI. That's great that you'll have time off on bedrest! I was on strict bedrest for 48 hours, getting up only to use the restroom. No shower, nothing! I'll be thinking of you tomorrow :)

sbumblebeeo: Thanks :) You're so sweet!

Keyan: Thank you! I will update asap :) Enjoy your time away w/dh! Come on, O!!!

Well, Luvkayln & Keyan know my concerns, but I haven't shared them w/ you all. I had a mini breakdown, an OMG! or Ah-ha moment last night... I've read that because I have a t-shaped uterus, I'm at risk for a 2nd trimester m/c due to a weakened cervix. There's a stitch that can be put in place between 15-18 weeks if your cervix is showing signs that it's starting to open. So, I started to think about that & decided to email my former RE to alleviate my concerns. I thought maybe my hsg results would have revealed something or all the u/s we did would tell him I'm ok. His response was that I should be getting u/s where my ob is measuring the length of my cervix & checking for funneling (which is a term used to indicate the cervix is starting to open). OMG, my ob isn't even doing vaginal u/s, so how would she know?! I emailed my RE back letting him know that & asking if he thinks I should be seeing a specialist. I haven't heard back f/him yet. I guessed he was responding to me f/memory & maybe wanted to check my chart... Anyway, I was do worried last night because if I hadn't been reading about these things, it would never be addressed, so what else do I need to be aware of... Ugh! Today at my appt, I'll let my ob know my concerns & I'll ask her to do an exam. If that's not something she is aware of, I'll ask her to refer me to a specialist. So, I'll update later about how it goes & please just keep me & my babies in your prayers :)
