and she says "Well..." My heart dropped and then she said "...you have twins!" I didn't know whether to laugh or cry so I did both! I am so excited but SOOOOOOO nervous. Everything measured right on target and the heartbeats
were good. The dr. said there's a 95% chance that everything will be okay. I go back in 2 weeks for another u/s. I just can't quit staring at the u/s photos. It is so amazing! We were actually able to hear each of the heartbeats
I guess now I know why I've been so sick! I've been waking up b/n 4-5 a.m. every morning with nausea that lasts throughout the day. The dr. said I could take something for it and a good friend used the Phenergan behind the ear
My due date is December 31st but with twins, she said it would probably be a few weeks early so right before Christmas! I guess my ds was right. He's 3 1/2 and loves Dora the Explorer who has twin brother and sister. My ds looked at me the other day (he has no idea I'm even pg) and said, "I want you to have me a baby brother.....and a baby sister. I want 2 of them like Dora". I said, "Well, when do you want them?" and he says "For Christmas." It was so cute!
were floored when we told them. DH said that for the last 3 days, twins kept popping in his mind so when the tech said "twins" he wasn't surprised and was just thankful she didn't say "triplets". My MIL has been joking for a week that it was probably twins because I've been so sick so she just said "I told you!!"
Sorry to go on and on.....I just can't believe it! I think I'm still in shock!!! DH has called all his friends about donating to the "Nanny Fund".
Congrats! That's wonderful news! I am so happy for you. Twins are a definitely a double blessing...being a twin myself, i can tell you this will be an amazing experience for you and your family.
congratulations. That is wonderful news my 2 sisters both have twins and DH and I would love them :O) just got +hpt this morning so you never know.
Happy and healthy 9 months
WOW!!! That's amazing news and wonderful! BBFC! (Big, big, fat, congrats) Chellybeans is also having twins and Dardamico!!! There's the 3!! They do come in 3's! WooooHoooo! I wasn't even going to log in today, I'm glad I did!!
Congratulations, its so exciting hearing about all the BFP on here and this month being a big month for so many, it give the rest of us in here that are still TTC so much hope that our time with come.
About the Phenergan. A nurse friend of mine had a doctor write for the Phenergan to be prepared in such a way that it could be applied to the skin, though I think she used the inner forearm for hers. It had to be prepared by a compounding pharmacy, not a regular one. It really seemed to help her.
I'm sure you could do a search for "topical Phenergan" or something similar and get some info.
mami2karina - I think we will wait and tell Will after next u/s (8 weeks). We talk about it around him but he doesn't "get" it yet. We figured that it's too early to tell him now in case something happened because he probably wouldn't be able to understand. I think we might go ahead and take him to Disney World this summer (he'll be 4 in July), because it will be a long time before we could go again. Once the twins would be old enough to enjoy it, Will would be 8-9 years old. Plus, no one is going to volunteer to watch twins if we wanted to go with just Will!
EVERYONE - Thank you all so much for the encouragement! I am moving from shocked to excited. It will be so much fun for them growing up together and Will will be such a great "helper". I feel extremely blessed!
